To the young Nigerians, I admonish you to embrace the biblical wisdom that says: '' Psalm 37:1-5: Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Adopting the wisdom is necessary to avoid partaking in the tragedy that defines their end, as divinely ordained: Micah 2:1 - ''Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! When the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.'' Psalms 34:21 - ''Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.''

To the past and present corrupt leaders who drowned Nigeria in the mid-seas of corruption and poverty, I admonish you: You know you don't have the peace that you desire. You hardly sleep at night because God has ordained that ''there is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked (Isaiah 48:22). The water beds and beautiful houses are incapable of inducing sleep! Fear has become your closest companion, exposing you to vulnerabilities that drive you to seek refuge in secret societies and satanic human sacrifices, thus ensnaring the lives of your innocent children! Why can't you repent and secure your life and that of your family in peace? May you receive God's available help in Christ Jesus' name, so that you can end well in this world and live well in the celestial realm when the eyes are permanently shut off.

The so-called ethnic balancing in appointments is a contrivance of the idle minds, lazy sense, and unproductive hands. The poor people's interest is in having their expectations satisfied by a progressive leadership and not in the personalities piloting the governance.

The appointment model is an elitist scheme to perpetrate corruption within a few powerful individuals, which is counterproductive to the welfare of poor villagers across Nigeria. Have you ever heard of such nonsense being discussed in America, where all ethnic groups in the world converge?

How have the State governors and legislators, representing their local environments, satisfied the needs of their people? The Federal government should be free from the retrogressive encumberance for the sake of liberal development, identification and maximisation of talents to achieve national goals. Unfortunately, the successive corrupt leaders in Nigeria have been using this liberal principle to plant their corrupt proxies in strategic 'juicy' positions for their selfish interests.

I would like to see Nigeria where governance decisions and appointments are made not based on religion, tribalism, regionalism, or any other divisive factor, but purely on merit and integrity qualifications. What Nigeria needs at this critical stage is healthy competition to fast-track development and not unhealthy regressive placation.
