There is no civilian president that General Olusegun Obasanjo did not support during elections and sought to dethrone during the reign of his proteges. Can we mention Ya'Ardua, Jonathan, and Buhari? Obasanjo is a phony self-acclaimed solo saint, but people of history will take his holy sermon with the levity it deserves. Here is a man who sold the nation's precious assets to cronies at peanuts and whose phoney electricity contracts drained the princely 16 billion dollars from the national purse. He confessed to being a poor man on the day he was sworn in as the executive president of Nigeria but left the state house as a billionaire in dollars. What happened Okikiola? In sane climes, this man and his likes should be cooling their heels in the prisons! The president that will rescue Nigeria must be completely detribalized, knowledgeable, and incorruptible whose behavioural signature is empathy. Yes, there are men and women with these virtues, but they have not emerged on the national political terrain. I am positive that by His mercy on Nigerians, God will orchestrate their synergetic emergence sooner than expected. Until then, the successive governance of deception and pains continues! |
“The President acknowledges that times are hard, but at the end of the tunnel, there is always light,” Akume stated. He added, “And solutions to complex problems can never be as instant as coffee, but we are on the right track.” GEORGE, WHICH LIGHT IS IN THE TUNNEL? WHY IS IT THAT ONLY THE CORRUPT GOVERNMENT BENEFICIARIES SEE ''THE LIGHT'' AND ''THE RIGHT TRACK'' WHILE THE GENERALITY OF NIGERIANS ARE CRYING IN THE COCOON OF DARKNESS FOR RESCUE? I BLAME TINUBU AND NOT ANY OF HIS ADVISERS. HE SHOULD BE WISE ENOUGH TO LEAVE HIS COMFORT ZONE AND SPARE QUALITY TIME TO READ THE MOOD OF THE PEOPLE THROUGH THE SOCIAL MEDIA AND STATISTICAL DATA OF ORGANISED ASSOCIATIONS ABOUT NIGERIA. GEORGE HAS FORGOTTEN THAT GOD THE ALMIGHTY WILL JUDGE HIM AND EVERY OTHER PERSON INCLUDING ME. HOW CAN SOME PEOPLE BE SO IRREDEEMABLY BLIND, DUMB, AND INSENSITIVE? |
FFK and his crowd want to crucify the amiable, foresighted, and progressive Kemi Badenoch for speaking the absolute truth regarding the choking corruption and suffocating governance that have been unleashed upon the hapless Nigerians for decades. The voiceless poor Nigerians are praying for Kemi for being the lone voice crying on their behalf in the wilderness within the international community. The elites are the problems of Nigeria. They hate the truth and defend injustice as long they feed fat on crises. God keep and protect Kemi and her likes within and outside Nigeria. |
As a pastor, people expect Oluremi to exhibit the Christian virtues of selflessness and truth by drumming into her husband's skull the need to attend to the welfare of the economy and the people instead of the current disastrous government policies. The area that needs urgent focus is mass food production by empowering the organised farmers' associations with subsidised tractors, implements, and fertilisers. The farmers and other businessmen can be encouraged to establish cottage industries to commercially process the farm produce to avoid wastage. The activities of the Dangote refinery and the upcoming ones can be regulated to satisfy international quality standards and encourage healthy price competitiveness. The sale of crude in naira to these refineries can guarantee the product's minimum price for the citizens which ultimately affects the costs of goods and services across all other sectors of the economy. Remi. this is not rock science but a commonsense idea! If your husband and his loyalists in government are not corrupt, Tinubu should be able to fight the monstrous and murderous corruption with the brutality that it deserves to save enough money to build infrastructure like roads, electric power, and clean water to encourage investments and establishment of industries to boost the employment index of the country. Above all, there must be a national conversation in the spirit of mediation and conflict resolution with groups with genuine grievances. With concerted efforts in this direction, the country will attain a sustainable trajectory of prosperity within the next two years. Remi, tell your husband to wake up from slumber and brace up for the transformational and inclusive leadership that the country earnestly deserves. It is inhuman to impoverish people with bad policies and then give them handouts to keep them in perpetual servitude. Nigerians are not orphans or beggars, they are tired of handouts. Implement the right policies that empower people to utilise their creativity to achieve goals with dignity. Remi, remember that life is transient and the government's policies negatively impact the lives of all Nigerians. May you receive the grace to positively influence your husband to take to corrections. God bless you! |
I am a Christian and I read my bible. The church has been adulterated with bad products of antichrist values and norms. How on earth can a supposed man of God use the platform of the church to discredit the bible and undermine the integrity of God's word? This is pure anit-evangelism and a diabolical practice imported into the Body of Christ by impostors sponsored from the pit of hell to massage the greed of mammon. May God deliver these ministers of hell before it is too late. No repentance after death for sure! [Heb 9:27, and 1 Corinthians 6:9]. To those who are not Christians and are considering becoming Christians, I say unto you: DON'T BE DISCOURAGED. WHAT YOU ARE SEEING IS NOT CHRISTIANITY AND NOT COMING FROM CHRISTIANS BUT FROM IMPOSTORS EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIM BIG TITLES. |
A man beaten and apologising to his unjust tormentor reflects and unearths the larger underlying societal decay and the obvious disorientated national values concertedly emplaced in the last decades by the corrupt ruling class. According to the corrupt apostles of the Might-Is-Right gospel, a subjugated abused victim-girl must not cry when a rapist mounts the virgin with reckless abandon no matter how painful it might be. Crying becomes a crime even if the cascading tears turn to blood as long the human demon reaps his dividend of the momentary 'enjoyment'. Pure wickedness you may exclaim. Yes, that is exactly what it is! I can see the endless oppression of Nigerians because the continued rapid downward slide along the slope of penury and frustration is the strengthening and fortifying tonic and anointing of the Pharaohs. What a pity! In these modern times when the decent climes challenged by natural disasters are planning how to invade Mars for leisure and a deeper understanding of the celestial bodies, it is ironic that the trending issues in Nigeria endowed with natural mineral and climatic blessings are the dehumanizing national leadership dividends of toxic corruption as typified by violent crimes, lack of clean water, functional electricity, and good roads. Nigeria needs a selfless messiah who is detribalised, unambitious for wealth or fame, and whose sole concern and dream is to reconstruct the entire structure of governance with the bricks of egalitarian justice, fairness, and equity where the poorest person is empowered by the system to sue the richest person to obtain equitable justice. This sounds utopian but certainly achievable with God's providential interference. May that era come quickly in Christ Jesus' name. |
From the narrative of the ministry, one may deduce as follows: 1. A valid and binding contract exists between the ministry and the contractor, Julius Berger, to construct a certain length of road for a certain amount within a certain period of time. 2. It seems the ministry unilaterally decided to rescope the contract without the consent of the other party, Julius Berger Plc. 3. The ministry made a proposal to the Federal Executive Council and got an approval for the rescoping and rescaling that reduced the length and costs of the road and awarded same to another company, Dangote. 4. The ministry with audacious authority and typical of the Nigerian way of doing things, gave the other party only two options: accept our decisions and the new contract sum or have the contract terminated! No self-worth company will take the bullshit! Julius Beger is not a department of the government but an equal signatory to a binding and subsisting agreement with clear responsibilities to be performed by both parties. 5. When will the leaders learn from their mistakes? If the contract arbitration clause does not clearly restrict dispute resolution to the local jurisdiction, I foresee another national embarrassment from the possible punitive compensatory award against the Federal Government should Julius Berger decide to sue the government outside Nigeria. This antiquated master-slave mentality of the Nigerian leaders must stop. There is dignity in being humane. |
