Opinion: should we not throw away this Tunisia game?

There’s a little chance Senegal might drop to second. If they do, then the biggest threats will drop to the lower end of the knockouts tree.

By topping the group we are then guaranteed to meet either Algeria or Senegal and potentially Morocco in the semis.
If we throw away this game, what's the probability that we will win the next game.
This super eagles can't be trusted.
I am watching their games without any emotional attachment, I can't afford a broken heart.

It's not the coach.
This same coach picked up the team from low level and has won games even without Victor (in unity cup).
It has to do with the players mentality..
If you bring in Pep, same thing will happen.
I was surprised to see them passing to the back continously and being timid during the Dr Congo game, no fighting spirit.
C'mon..there are players with international exposure, they seriously let us down biko..

That still doesn’t change the fact that Congo has put itself on the football map through its local league and — something Nigeria simply can’t claim. It even makes you wonder sometimes if Nigeria still has a functioning local league at all.
Guy,
Calm down..
You cannot come here and run your mouth anyhow against nigeria..
We congratulate Dr Congo for their success and for beating Nigeria.
Don't come and add salt to injury.
Kindly stay in your lane pls.

We just need to understand that we cannot give what we don't have...

These set of players were deployed against Benin and Gabon and we won gallantly..

When we saw the line up, a larger percentage of people said..it was a perfect line up...and showed belief in Chelle

Now why the query..

The fact remains that we cannot give what we don't have...
The better team won yesterday...
Kudos to every player and coaching crew who fought hard, time for some people to retire...

100% agreed

minfelix:
bro let’s not b sentimental chelle is the man, it’s unfortunate he was outplayed…i really dont know the boys fell like pack of cards, i really dont know how they allowed congo build confidence…

bro lets remove sentiment and anger, if chelle had even picked up from jpes after our first 2 draws i dont see him losing away to Benin and maybe playing draw with SA, but he would have learnt his lesson and defeated zimbabwe in uyo…walai with that SA deduction we for don qualify direct tay tay…he only lost in Pk shootout, he is still unbeaten in 90mins as super eagles coach…even in 120 mins

Bro I kept dreaming that we replayed the match and we still didn't win... 😔

This loss go mess with me for sometime sha. But where has Éric Chelle got any blame in all these?

Now people are shouting that why didn't he play 4-4-2? The same people who were shouting "is 4-3-3 dead in football?" Chelle got his formation and selection perfect in this game, the players were just complacent and confused on the pitch. It's safe to say without Osimhen, the Super Eagles cannot function.

So now every game he didn't play up to 50 mins at least, we didn't manage to win one in the entire qualifying process? Akor and Tolu disappeared, no single shot from 2nd half to the the 2nd half of extra time.

The one chance Tolu got he headed it upwards. We played bad and this is NOT on Chelle. I pity the man in all these, why can't these players turn up for their coach and themselves? Why?

Nwabali saved a last minute shot, saved two penalties and players still decided to miss more than he saved. BROOO 🤦🏾‍♂️... I can't move on from this anytime soon. I just dey look sha 😐
It is well bro...

Not only do they win, they now score plenty goals..
I was surprised to see them still pushing to score more after 4 goals..
The SE we used to know will score a goal and relax.. something has changed...

Thanks to all the players and coaching crew for putting smiles in our faces tonight.
