The level of ignorance among you Nigerians is disheartening, for you to say what you just said means you never even took the time to look at the budget, because any human being with a functional brain who saw the budget and went through it knows that the Senator was spewing thrash.
That said, he was given opportunity to clear himself, was he able to?

He said the president presented a budget of 25T, where did you ever read or see that the presidency presented a budget of 25T.
We all saw the budget the President presented we all followed the process, the president never presented a N25T but a N27T budget, but as the man came and said what was obviously not true, na that one your brain carry, because it is against the government, you can't even think for your self.....
No be the same Obi dey talk thrash about the cars purchased for National Assembly as official cars still buy 400 SUVs for traditional rulers.
They can easily use people like you, they know you don't use your brains
He knows airhead like you will fall for his thrash talk.
Na so Peter Obi an Nnamdi Kanu buy una with cheap lies na.
Una no go use una brain.
As long as it is against the government it must be true.
When was the last time you used your brain while analysing the issues in the country?
Idiot.
Have you checked NL front page to see that they have been released.

Your sister is a big, big fool. And the man (a 37-year old male is a man, not a boy; I hope you don't address him as "a boy" to his face because that's likely enabling him to continue being lazy) who had the audacity to ask you to give him 100k to marry her is a chronic loser and moocher. I wonder why you didn't chase him away with a stick after he said that. You seem like a mumu for a big brother. Moreover, if you say your sister works but she's always broke, it's likely because she's giving him money. You need to find a way to talk some sense into her frontal lobe so she can leave him before she wastes another 10-years with him and continues being his atm. She's still young at 34 and should leave him now but the decision is hers to make.

34 years old woman is still young?

Keep dreaming

Politics / Re: CBN Plans To Limit Buying And Selling Of FOREX In Cash By BSCs To $500 by DryMouth: 1:16pm On Feb 26
Librason:

The corrupt and ignorant ones should also realize Dollars are released to banks on frequent basis but corruption within the sector is the cause of artificial scarcity , the dollar is meant for some people unlike local currency that anyone can just walk in and cash out , they sell these currencies out en masse and travelers or business men find it difficult to access what is released to the banks on frequent basis.
The CBN should be more thorough and sincere in regulating selling out of excess dollars to black marketers even if they will increase their limit.
Good!
So are you blaming the BDCs or CBN?
Politics / Re: CBN Plans To Limit Buying And Selling Of FOREX In Cash By BSCs To $500 by DryMouth: 8:42am On Feb 26
oyatz:

You are mixing issues up.
This policy is to regulate the BDC ,not to restrict FOREX.

You don need to touch dollars in cash for you to do Import business.

Nigeria is NOT the only country in West Africa with high importation yet we don't see their economy highly dollarized like this.

In other countries, to get above $100, they will request for your international passport and you won't see private citizens in Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana or Mali holding $1000 cash.

What is presently happening in Nigeria is that some elites have somehow created a parallel currency within Nigeria called the DOLLAR with a competing and opposing values to the Naira within the economy
And what you ignorant folks don't know about this import business is that the limit an importer can get from CBN is $10,000 and there is a very long queue and bribery going on before it will get to your turn to access the $10,000. The $10,000 is not even enough so import the needed products so importers buy more USD from the black market, pay into their dorm acct and send it to their clients abroad.
And as long as importers can't walk into a bank and buy USD, black market business will continue to flourish

I'm only gonna respond to your post so that you don't mislead folks here. You didn't read my reply properly otherwise you would not have responded the way you did in a very uncouth manner.

Just to be very CLEAR, accredited BDCs exist in major countries of the world but NOT Illegal Aboki-style black market currency speculators which the EFCC had an altercation with.
The black market currency speculations is what I condemned here NOT accredited BDCs.

I'm a well-traveled man Internationally and incidentally have flown to those two geographical locations of the world that you quoted and more for business and leisure travels, so, I know what obtains Internationally.
Lol.. Even before you dreamt of entering dubai, i have gone and come back. Dubai speculators are way more than the ones in Nigeria. Even Dubai govt uses the market.
Politics / Re: EFCC Confronts BDC Operators In Abuja (video) by DryMouth: 9:35pm On Feb 19
Konquest:

The so-called Aboki currency black market speculators have NOT always been in Nigeria like you stated.

It was during the military era especially in the early 1990s that these so-called Aboki currency black markets fully came into existence. The military dictatorships and their cronies propped them up and engaged in round tripping or currency speculations.

It's even annoying that a lot of these illegal black marketers are NOT Nigerians and they have been allowed to engage in economic sabotage through round tripping.

No where in serious developing or developed countries are these kinds of black markets allowed to exist to avoid distortions in the economy.

Go to dubai and france and see for yourself. Don't sit in your village and conclude.

This business is everywhere. Your useless govt dey use una play

This is one areas I blame Tinubu govt. For crying out loud, I haven't seen anywhere people do forex business like Nigeria. I don't know of other Africa counties, but outside Africa, most countries restrict their forex to airport and the commercial banks. In Brazil it's a crime to transact business with foreign currency, not to talk of exchanging dollars on the street like Nigeria. That's is why in Nigeria most commercial banks are pushing their forex to the BDCs for more profits
Shut up bro. You haven't been to anywhere.

This business is existence in dubai, france, US and most developed countries. Nigeria is heavily dependent on imports hence the high demand for dollars.

Even in that same brazil currency and drugs trading exists very much

One thing you can't deny is that Yemi Cardoso is a breath of fresh air at the central bank. Calm, smart, strategic, precise, and BOLD!

I remember Ewelele doing gidigbo on national tv with abokiFX when he made that silly "You to fight? Come out and fight" statement or close.

This is Yemi fighting the same battle without noise. Respect a beg! ☺️
Do you have sense at all?

Kill off the parallel market and allow all dollars to go through the banking system only
I was informed that Nigeria is the one of the very few countries in the world that has a parallel market
A friend told me a funny story, he said he was explaining to his friend who was not a Nigerian this double rates and the guy kept asking why we have such operations
Also, with this new rule of collecting all dollars in naira, some illegal operations will just collapse
I don't want to mention anybody but these group knows themselves
Shut up your sillly mouth.
You have not gone anywhere. There is parallel market even in Dubai, malaysia, China etc.

It means that if you have, if a bank has cash less than 20% of your money and it's going to 0% and you don't have need for it, maybe you have people in the abroad you can rely on, you can call them and find out what's really the problem with the exchange that makes it impossible for the naira to dollar rate to crash beyond what the masses can explain in their little way.

No African mother will reject a successful son unless she's a witch.

The joy of every mother is to see her sons progress.

So, a 22 year old 200 level student should be broke and poor in Nigeria?
I bought my first land in 300 level.

This is the problem with Nigerians. The reason police profile a young boy driving a car as yahoo boy.

Young boys are making money without yahoo. Yahoo is not the only means of making money online.

As a student, learn a skill while studying. Don't always depend on your parents.
