Oliran:
BS! BS,! BS!

This pregnancy was so different from my first, I throw up everyday and Everytime I brush my teeth. I couldn't tolerate any smell or aroma, all I wanted was a clean fresh air. I couldn't do anything, the only thing I managed to do is bathe my Son to reduce the workload on hubby, he cleans, cooks and did Laundry, chaii it wasn't easy. We had to result to having a cleaner come twice in a week to do the cleaning. I couldn't eat too, I became so lean and weak.

2nd trimester came and my energy was back, I resumed back to my cooking and washing but still let the cleaner do the cleaning. I became a foodie, eating everything eatable, my favorite was Calabar kitchen food.

3rd trimester: still had energy but pelvic pain and vagina heaviness started, despite the pain I was still very active.
I stopped going to site at work around 34 weeks.

My consultant at the clinic told me that of baby doesn't come before EDD then I'd be induced cos I must not pass my EDD due to my rhesus factor, I did indirect coomb test every month till I gave birth.
My bags were packed around mid August, at 37 weeks, I went to the big market in our axis, Ile-Epo, the place is like Mile 12, I went to stock up my house with food and my son's school needs, I was in the market with my colleague when my leg got stuck, like a muscle pull at the upper part of my thigh, I was given a chair to sit, hubby kept calling and complaining that he warned me not to go. It rained heavily that Saturday, I had to chatter a tricycle to take me home with my load.

My antenatal day was on Monday, a day to our 38weeks, I usually take food to antenatal cos I couldn't tolerate other foods aside the one I cooked myself, on this particular day, I forgot my food at home, I told the bike man to take me back cos we've gone a bit far and he refused, he said he can't go back, I abused him till we departed. I couldn't eat the egg-roll I bought cos it was soaked of oil.
I saw the doctor and I told him about the muscle pull and vagina ache. He told me to be prepared that baby might come anytime soon.
I got home and ate the food I left in the morning, my co-wife came visiting and my colleague brought what I forgot in her house the day we went to the market.
I saw my colleague off and told her I need to start taking my exercise serious.

My co-wife left around 6pm and I insisted that we walk cos I want to exercise my body, we walked a long distance and hubby called to tell me to take bike when I am coming back. I parted ways with my co-wife and started walking home, contractions started on the way with my co-wife but I didn't know it was contractions, my tummy would become so tight and I'd have to slow down or stop walking.
When I was trekking back home alone, I had few tummy tightening, I had to walk very slow in our street and was pressing my phone so no one would notice. I got home around 7pm, then the painful contraction started, I knew this was different from what I had been feeling cos it's painful, the previous ones were made me uncomfortable but was painless.

Hubby went to the other room and brought out my bags, I laughed at him and said it's not time o, they will just chase us back home at the hospital, then the contractions became frequent. I was confused cos my water broke before contractions started for my first child.
I quickly called mama Zaynie (JazakumLlahu khyran ma) and explained to her, she told me it might be the real contractions as her water doesn't break too before contractions.
I launched the contraction timer on my phone and sent a screenshot to Zaynie, she ask me to start heading to the hospital. This was around 8pm, hubby called our Uber guy and he said he was stuck in traffic at ikeja.
I stood up to change my clothes, I wore the gown and I felt a gush of warm water down on my body, the contractions became so painful that I'd kneel and rub my face on the bed when it hits me.

There's no car available to take me, I had to quickly call a colleague of mine who stays not too far to us, we were already at the gate when he came. I was dripping water seriously, i had to grab my towel and tie on my cloth.

We got to the hospital around 8.40pm, the nurse checked my BP and it was high, contraction hit again and I hugged the nurse so tight, I was taken to the delivery room immediately, they set my line and I felt an urge to poo, I told the matron that I feel like pooing and she said I should go ahead, I pooed and felt better a bit, they injected something into the drip they gave me and the urge to push came, I was asked to push with the urge and my sweet baby slide out, weighing 2.6kg at 9:10pm.
Baby came out and my OS closed immediately with placenta still inside, the doctor came and was told my OS has closed, they injected oxytocin into the drip and the OS opened, the placenta came out. Hubby was informed that I've given birth, I was cleaned up and taken to the post natal ward, we were discharged on Wednesday afternoon and was asked to come back on Friday to see the pediatrician.

We saw the pediatrician and I was told my DD has Jaundice and it's quite much, the doctor said he'd be admitting us, I told my in-law who went with me and she said we shouldn't stay for admission as there are herbs we can use, I was so confused and worried. I foolishly left the hospital declining the admission.

I took my Daughter back to the hospital this past Monday as I couldn't see the difference, her eyes were yellowish in colour. The doctor was so mad at me and he said he's referring us to Massey hospital as there's no bed space in Igando General Hospital, I quickly called hubby to come over, I cried so much.

I went to meet the matron who is in charge of antenatal and explained myself to her, she abused me very well and followed me to the paediatric ward, she went to the Neonatal unit and was told they will be discharging some babies that day, she secured a bedspace for us.
My baby's PCV was low, the doctor said she's pale.

Alhamdulillah, We were discharged yesterday evening, we got home around 8pm, those 5 days in NNU wasn't easy for me, I couldn't stop blaming myself, I cried so much.

May Almighty God make it easy for all pregnancy mamas, there shall be no loss Bi'dnillah
I pray for the GTC mamas, your testimony is near.

Hmmmm.... Congrats ma

hope Annie knows that we cannot solve her marital issues with 2baba? All of us for social media get problem too. She doesn't owe us an explanation about her marital issues. Bring it to Social Media would only exacerbate the fire.

I support Annie, I'm I a simp?

You probably are not successful, because if you are and have lots of low lifes as families sucking you dry, you'll feel her pain.

What you said is harsh.

Hmmmm. Every family has lowlifes but that doesn't mean they don't have some doing.

This issue ought to stay within the family not social media. She has the upper hand because she's the legal wife, not matter where he goes to he'll surely come back to her but this one they've opened their yansh for the whole world can they go back to how they were

So for my first baby from the day I knew I was pregnant to the day of delivery I had no issue. Infact I only used folic acid and the compulsory anti malaria given during antenatal. On the day I went into labor I was at a party dancing away when my water broke and the rest is to the glory of God.
