seangy4konji: Don't deceive yourself. I lved in Dubai for 8 years. Qatar, Saudi, Oman, kKuala Lumpur Phuket... Dubai is for extra hustle.Get rich or go home.
Don't spend money to go to the place if you don't have a plan b.

Why have you been traveling upandan Middle East? Is Naija not OK for you?
I promised that I would be making a second part because the topic is quite extensive and there are some really important tips I wouldn't want you to miss. I also addressed sone people enquires in this concluding part.
Now some of the tips here may look too general and cliché, but trust me. They work here in Dubai and i am a living testimony.
So let's get to it.
1) Search for companies based on your field. There are many companies in Dubai, in order not to waste your time, you need to narrow your search to the kind of companies you are interested in working for. E.g if you are in the hospitality field, you can input "hospitality companies in UAE" and follow the results. This worked for me but I will share my story some other time.
2) Don't give your money to agents: This is one of the faster ways for you to exhaust your spending capital. Don't trust agents even if they claimed they have spent many years in the country. Look for your jobs yourself or they will send you back to the village.
3) Connect and Network with people. Don't forget information is key, and as a stranger in a foreign land, you need to engage with like minds to get opportunities.
4) Dress presentable and respectably when u are attending an interview: This looks like a general tip but some people default a lot on this.. even in a foreigner's land. I once saw a Nigerian attend an interview wearing slippers in Dubai. Irrespective of the job you are applying for. Look presentable.
I covered more information in the source. You can check it out. Thanks.
Kaylet: When it comes to travelling out of Nigeria, most people do all they can to put resources together with the mindset that they'll settle down within a space of four to six months.
UAE isn't like that.
Let's learn to tell Nigerians at home the truth, what's obtainable over there. How difficult it is to earn over there.
How people work for more than twelve hours without being paid at times.
How people laments in Labour, Africans, naija people, as a result of salaries not paid.
How people sleep in boarding house mattress, How people are jam packed in a room, 10 in a room.
Simply, because getting a room to yourself is expensive,
Let alone getting a flat: For instance, if you live in Ajman, getting a flat in Ajman tower may cost you 3000aed per month which is like ₦310, 781.
How you don't get qualified easily for job because you don't have UAE experience, not because you you're not experienced in the field except someone recommends you.
Mr Dubaiguy. Like I said earlier, a word is enough for the wise, those who have a listening ears to hear.
And if you refused by the time you get there, you'll be more wiser.
Nevertheless, I know of people who earn ₦500k ₦700k, ₦1M, ₦2.5 but e no easy in UAE.
My only advise is that, if you need to leave naija, go to Europe where there's HUMAN RIGHTS means something to them, to stay safe.
If you are planning to marry or married. Don't go there except you've enough money to spend in settling down.
Thank you
Thanks for your contribution, anytime you notice I lie in my video, call me out.

Dapsyphobia: Thanks for this information, to buttress your point you should state that the scammers have different tactics majorly on fellow Nigerians, and if you want to get job other countries in UAE like ALain, a particular location under Abu Dhabi got more opportunities than any other state in the country... Thanks and Goodluck to anyone applying
Lewisdinho: As an HSE officer, what i need now is NEBOSH IGC. If not i for don d apply since. I must run that course or OSHA, no matter what. Shalom to all HSE personnels here
jookunlaja: Take it or leave it, Dubai is a great place to live and work. Though it posses different strokes for different people. It's a great starting point in life. Travelling for economic reasons is not a luxury in present day Nigeria. Though getting gainful employment opportunities was quite difficult for Nigerians three years ago when I came here but it's far better now. As more and more hard working and well-mannered Nigerians are trooping here now. Though I know that there are some shady characters too. However,. By and large, Dubai is a wonderful city and a good attestation that infrastructural development is a possibility anywhere in the world. I most times cry for my beloved country with abundance of resources but nothing meaningful and significant. The development and desire for change happening in Dubai every day is a great lesson for guys with keen minds like mine. I am learning and relearning that you can overcome any challenging situation, no matter what. If you are given a broken egg by mother nature, don't cry, just make an omelet with it. Hi Dubai guy, great job you are doing. Don't forget to inform guys thinking of coming that some employers collect visa charges and guys should be ready to pay agent fees to fellow Nigerians who are overly greedy and self centred.
Bro I really appreciate you taking time to post this.
angelusbrut: Food manufacturing for packed foiled foods
