AyaE: Hello Guys, my grant just came in today!!!! Thanks to everyone who has contributed on this thread one way or the other on this thread. It has helped immensely. My time line: Submitted application-31st July 2019 Conditional offer- 15th July 2019 CoE- 24th November 2019 Biometrics- 27th December 2019 Submitted Visa Application- 25th January 2020 IELTS Score- 7.0 (I had a minimum band score of 7.0 so my average was 7.0). I got a waiver from the school so I didn't need IELTS for school admission. My agent advised I write one for visa so I did. School- Flinders University Sponsor's account: My maternal uncle. Submitted 2 bank statements. One had 18m and the other was a fixed deposit account that matures every 30days. It had 13m. Course- Social work (masters) BSc- Microbiology Agent: PFL Submitted my credentials, letter from sponsor, proof of relationship to sponsor (uncle & Mum's NPC) and sponsor's account statement. I didn't submit payslips or my account statement sha. Challenges faced: I already had an MSc in Microbiology so applying for a second masters was what I had to prove. Plus, with Social Work being a high risk course I had to write a convincing SOP. (I can share that with anyone interested cos mehn this took me like a month to write). My work experience was also a bonus cos I work as a care assistant. Sometime in December the bank statement I used for the school admission could no longer be used cos he had to move the funds to another bank for investment reasons. He had to submit another letter to this effect. He also had to back it up with the fixed deposit account. School resumes on Monday so if anyone could help with flight and accommodation links, I'd be most grateful.
Thank God!!!!!!! Congratulations bro . I am next in line to share my own good news. I also got admission to study social work in UNE but still waiting for visa grant and school resumes on Monday |

Dereformer: Another thing that bothers me is leaving my wife and children alone in another country. How will they cope?
Please can we talk on phone? If your answer is yes, I will provide my email. They can cope more than you imagine. I am also traveling with my two kids alone while my husband stays back because he has a great job . So don't worry how they will cope the important thing for now is getting to the country |

piazon: Is it the Teesside University English language Skype interview? If yes then this is what I was asked last month.
1:Your full name. 2: date, month and year of birth. 3:why did you chose to study at teesside. 4: why did you chose to study your course.( if it is an off shoot from your first degree be ready to explain) 5:what is the most respected job in your country and why? 6: How do you intend to adapt to the change in environment (weather)
You will be given a topic to speak on. Mine was 7: what jobs do you want to do in the future And what qualifications do you need?
8: what are the advantages and disadvantages of working from home?
It's a 12-14 mins interview. Make sure your network connection is very strong. I used ntel 4G. You will get the result via mail the same day.
Don't forget to speak big grammar and be as fluent as possible.
Never ask the interviewer to repeat herself.
The interviewer is a woman with nose ring.
Good Luck Thanks so much |

sollej: Hello Dubyz. I will advise you to go for education, since you're already in that field. Nursing and education are two different professions. Visa grant is slim. Also, its better for you to apply first, then your hubby and kids can join you as subsequent entrants. I was told that with graduate entry nursing I will have 2years post study visa that will enable me to work. My husband won’t be joining fully rather he will be visiting us since he has a steady job here. Then my kids are still too small to be left behind. They are 3 and 2 years |

Good morning all, please I’m new here. I want to study graduate nursing entry in Australia, though I already have BSC accounting and post-graduate diploma in education. However I was told that I can travel with my children and husband if I’m able to get student visa. Please how true is this and is there any other thing I need to know in this regard. I have already written IELTS exams and my husband will be my sponsor.
Please I need your advice |
