[quote author=Annie26 post=104990378]Dear Uk January Applicants,
Please whatever you do, do not apply to University of Westminster for January 2022.
Paid deposit only to be told I can apply for CAS after November 15 and it takes 5 to 10 working days to receive it.. Meaning you have only 1 month or less to apply for visa, get a date and fly to the UK considering the December and January Holidays.
For now, I will focus on other schools.... I have started processing my refund already. Please be guided.
Please how does one request for deposit refund from school |

ocpaschal: four courses for 1st semester That was what I did. I was supposed to enroll for the four courses but sent email to the school that I can’t take the four courses because of work and other commitments. So I did 1 course for the 1st trimester, now I enrolled for just 1 course again for the 2nd trimester. Just send email to your school first |

ocpaschal: Pls guys, I need your advise. 1st Semester class is starting next week Monday in Adelaide Uni and I have not yet gotten my student visa (though the visa processing is ongoing)... I have deferred my Masters program b4 around 2020 due to Covid. I also want to add that I got a call from the Australian embassy around June, informing me to rephrase my personal statement, which I did, and I indicated that my studies will start on July 2021. Pls should I proceed to defer again till 2022 or is it advisable to enrol in online class this July while waiting for my study visa? Enrol with just one course and start your classes online |

Visa Alert My journey First Application February 2020. Me and my two children Meanwhile my course was supposed to start in March 2020 but I deferred it by 1 year. November 2020. I received Refusal email. Reason for refusal: there is no relationship between first degree and proposed course (social work)
December 2020. We re-applied again March 2021. Started my class online with just 1course. June 2021. Extra documents and new medicals were requested for. July 2021. Received email for the grant.
Thanks to everyone that answered my question and contributed to this forum. Above all to God be all the glory. Amen |

michealekene: Hello people
I learnt there are stringent rules on what constitutes one's luggage at the various airports. Are stuffs like foodstuffs, cereal, diary products like milk, provision items or indomie noodles allowed?
Luggage can be an issue, as I intend to pack one traveling bag of foodstuffs, another for clothes/boots, while laptop and others on nap sack. I don't wish any items seized tho... Don’t pack only foodstuffs in one bag rather mix it. Put foodstuffs and your clothes together. If not those security guys in our Naija airport go use you shine first. |

george009: Thanks for your response; from their website, dependents are either your spouse or children in this case, I believe to be your biological children but he’s not my biological child, we share same parents, so how best can I present his case for best shot.
Please other persons can contribute to this, I thought it will be an easy ride with enough proof of funds but from their definition for a dependent, it’s becoming a little dicey. Adopt him legally as your son. In that case you will be able to travel with him as your dependant. But you have to find out first if it is even possible to adopt your brother. |

raffyhills: When will the Australian embassy begin to grant applicants their student visas this year 2021? Or have they started inviting Nigerians for visa collection?
My student visa was granted today.(Submitted my application in December, 2020) for me and my two children(Dependent) I will like to know if I can commence application for the rest of my family members while still in Nigeria. When exactly in December did you apply and which day was your biometric done. I submitted my application on 20, Dec. 2020 and did biometrics the next day with my two children but I have not received any response from the embassy yet. |
