I would like to inform you of the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
The regulation is novel (January 25, 2019), and it regulates the processing
of personal information of data subjects. All organisations (data
controllers) that processes personal data of customers and employees must
comply with this regulation.

All data controllers are expected to have carried out a risk assessment of
their personal data processing activities and produce a data audit report
which must be submitted to the National Information Technology Development
Agency (NITDA) on or before June 30,2020. This is very important as NITDA
has huge fines & penalty for non-compliance.

All data audits, assessments and compliance services can only be carried out
by licensed Data Protection Compliance Organisations (DPCOs).

Mr Gbenga, i sincerely appreciate this perceived transparancy. i called it perceived transparency because of the polluted Nigerian terrain in doing car deals especially online. i have made a couple of calls to dealers and agents and its a shame what you get.
