It's a good gesture but it's only gonna slow down this process we all know when it comes to things of technology Nigeria sometimes has issues look at when people go to write jamb some of them end up waiting an hour before they can do so cos the biometric reader doesn't recognize them, they're sometimes labeled as fake candidates n look at nysc reg the biometrics frustrated a lot of people it caused some to use 2dsys just to reg so except they're saying these will function properly then it's only gonna be another avenue to cause delay for everyone and add to the frustration they're feeling already.. The only reason why they would succeed is because they would appeal to the desperation of the people for anything different at all.. The same way Nigerians were so desperate for change the first time that they came out en masse to vote Buhari will be the same way 2019 will be. Nigerians will only hope they fulfill their promises and PDP will use excuses such as fuel being at #87 per litre the rate of the dollar compared to now {this one in particular} etc to woo them..Nigerians know they won't deliver but anything will be better than the current situation and there will be massive defection from APC back to PDP as 2019 draws nearer and they see that the party most likely to win is PDP even though they'll be seen as being confused men who don't really know politics they won't care cos as far as they're concerned our voices won't be heard and we can't do anything about it..
