I meant to say that the girl was 50% right. And, in support of babzo, I read today that Elon Musk once lived on a dollar a day.

Stop supporting stupidity with whataboutism. Those who promote death threats on social media should be severely punished. Nobody should be spared.

One Yoruba lunatic went to prison in the UK for threatening Igbos and Yorubas. That lady who threatened Yorubas and Binis should be severely punished by the relevant authorities.

If people are not held responsible for their stupid content on social media, the rest of the world would think that Nigeria has no sane people. Everyone should be held responsible for whatever they share.
To whom is this addressed? Who is supporting what stupidity and how? I'm trying to let you see your hypocrisy whereby you remember that something is wrong only when the subject bears an Igbo name and you are telling me about whataboutism, the meaning of which you obviously don't understand.

if you can be very truthful and open, you will know that the very worst of us in yoruba land have taken over leaderships both politically and traditionally and its evident in the country now....I am a proud yoruba man and from observation Nigeria will and can only grow if the yoruba lead the growing and with the current tribal evelavtion, i have come to the conclusion that the country is gone and all thanks to Tinubu promotion to national politics that started in 2014...God help this country is what remains...

every tribe is great and with their own peculiar leadership but Nigeria growth depend on yoruba tribe types of politics cos we own the media, we are louder, we have the highest propagandist machine and mostly drive narration in the country... just check around you if u are in the country and you will see how debase the country is becoming tribally and all thanks to the worst of us that have taken over mantle of leadership....

There are worse things than this being done and said against the Igbos but no one cares. Igbos too don't care. But, let one Igbo misyarn, it gets branded an Igbo conspiracy and make national headline. Can't you see how they are all logging in, logging out, and running away with their tails in between their legs.
Bitterkola100:
you are just a cheap tribalist that can't take responsibility for fheir misdeed.

The same man was aressted by the osun state govt.

Away from whatever is going on between you people and Hausa and yoruba, what have we binis done to you people?
Let me address the 3 points raised by this commenter here:
1. You went ahead to call me a cheap tribalist after I have condemned her outburst in my post using strong words like "insane". I only said that people shouldn't take it as an Igbo view, but many of you instead see a support for Amaka Sunnberger. It's a proof that you can never please your haters, so better don't try. As for the names you called me, I won't descend to your level by calling you back.
2. You said that the man was arrested by the Osun State government. I don't know if he was arrested or not, or if he was released after as some people allege. All I know is that Igbos didn't try to hang what he said on other Yorubas as Yorubas are trying to do with Amaka's case, which is my point up there.
3. These Devil's we are dealing with have been known for their ability at vicious media propaganda. I have met many wise Binis who understand that all the noise about Igbos abusing Oba of Bini was the same evil souls using social media farms to create enmity between Igbos and Binis because of their jealousy against the unprecedented support Obi got from the Binis in 2023.

Read this thread and see. The Oba of Benin congratulated Tinubu and X users were commenting on it, but someone gathered all the tweets critical of Oba of Benin and claimed those were Igbo Obidients criticizing Oba.

But, a wise Bini gave the following reply to him:
AdaojoTheUrchin:
Thiefnubuu urchins open more mischievous ethnic threads. Use it to play Edo Vs Igbo. Edo people remain staunchly ObiDient and are not daft Yoromuslim agberoes. ..

Your political attaché-by-force with Bini people don cast. We remember how you sacked them from the Western region civil service in Ibadan in the first republic. You cannot deceive Edo people. grin
So, dear Bitterkola100, I'll be surprised if you are truly a Benin person because I have hardly ever seen a Bini person reasoning this low.

If you are too quiet, bullies will always target attacks at you. For me, this is the story of Igbos scapegoating by Nigerians.

Last year, an X user with a Yoruba name tweeted:

Let's kill all the Igbos. Let's flush them out of Yoruba lands. I hate these people with passion. They are violent people. They are worst. They hate us. Let's hate them without holding back.
SOURCE

Nobody seemed to care since Igbos were at the receiving end. But now, everyone cares because there's an Igbo name involved at the giving end.

In 1945, 2 Igbos were killed in Jos tomato market riot and nothing was done about it. In 1953, up to 60 Igbos were killed in Kano because a Benin man Anthony Enahoro moved a motion for Nigeria's Independence and the North rejected it and a Yoruba man Akintola planned to visit the North to preach independence to them.

Because nothing was done again, in 1966, thousands of Igbos were killed because of a coup staged by military officers from different tribes.

So it continued. In 2001, America bombed Afghanistan because of Osama Bin Laden's involvement in 9/11. Then, some Muslims started killing Igbos in Jos.

While we should all condemn Amaka Sunnberger's tribal outburst, we should also condemn anyone trying to make her insane talks look like the view of all Igbos.

After all, someone tweeted something similar about Igbos over a year ago but Igbos didn't accuse any tribe for it.

Politics"What Became Of Buhari's Coastal Rail Project?” And Other Questions by dumahi(op):
What Became Of Buhari's Coastal Rail Project?” And Other Questions Nigerians Should Ask

A recent This Day report reveals how investors are leaving Nigeria in droves as a result of a major local investor's property being earmarked for demolition along the route of the Federal Government's Lagos-Calabar Highway Project.

Quoting a real estate report, This Day writes: "the Paul Onwuanibe-led Landmark Group received notification from the government that the Landmark Beach resort was slated for removal due to its proximity to the proposed Lagos-Calabar 700km coastal highway".

"The demolition of the Landmark Beachfront raised concerns among investors. Some considered downscaling their investment plans, others have reallocated investments to other jurisdictions on the African continent," This Day further cites.

Explaining that the Landmark property here under discussion is estimated at $200 million while contributing tax returns estimated at $1.5 million, This Day reveals that "the report also stated that the demolition of the Landmark property has caused Nigeria's reputation for policy inconsistency and inadequate stakeholder consultation" to soar.

Talking about Nigerian governments' policy inconsistency side by side with the Coastal Highway Project of the Tinubu Administration, we are moved to ask...

What Became Of The Coastal Rail Project Of The Buhari Administration?

Yes, we've not been hearing about it, only for the buzz it once generated to be replaced by a new buzz around a coastal highway project between the same two cities. In our June article entitled 'NIGERIA: Possible Strategies President Tinubu Is Using To Pocket The Country As He Did Lagos', we had suspected that these projects were only meant as conduit pipes for siphoning the economy. We also suspected a conscious attempt to kill local enterprises as a part of an economic domination agenda by the top echelons of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Now, the This Day report in question here brings this suspicion back. This time around, we hope Nigerians can join us in asking this question until the Federal Government answers.

One of the major reasons why our government administrators may take us for granted is that we as a people are not taking them to task enough. Our traditional media doesn't seem to be squaring up to the task. And now that we have social media, we should all be responsible for consistently demanding accountability from the government.

How Can We Ask The Government For This Explanation?

Since our legislative and judicial arms of government seem subjugated to the executive arm and our mainstream media is also not doing enough in demanding the needed accountability, Nigerians have no option than to ask:

Where is the coastal rail project by the Buhari Administration?
Why is the Tinubu Administration no longer talking about the rail project but instead is talking about a parallel highway project?
Now that we have seen that our government's policy inconsistency is eroding investor confidence so much (of which we are going to be the ultimate victims), can we ask the government if the coastal highway project is not done according to an existing master plan? If it is, why is such a humongous investor property as the Landmark Beach resort getting affected?

If you are concerned about this situation, we urge you to ask these questions on one or more of your social media walls alongside the hashtag #CoastalRailOrRoad or #WhereIsTheCoastalRail.

Here is an example on X...

Alternatively, you can locate a 'share' link below and then, share this article alongside those hashtags. Thank you.

You can read more about the coastal rail project here on Wikipedia.
