Christianity EtcRe: What Does It Mean To Be Seated Together With Christ? by Dunamai86(m): 12:28pm On Jun 14
The Lordship of Christ is Forever Settled! Atheists may groan, cynics may moan and the ignorant may wail, Jesus is Lord. Whether they accept it or not He is Lord. Their acceptance or denial or validation doesn't change anything, Jesus is Lord!!!

Great counsel. Let the leaders lead by example. Let them bring all their kids home and the let medical trips and meaningless foreign adventure cease. Then and only then will Nigerians take this seriously.
Christianity EtcRe: The Anointing That Comes Through Fasting by Dunamai86(m): 10:21am On May 03
Ko
ocnovakmichael:
In 1952 Kenneth Hagin relates how Jesus appeared to him in a vision while he was in Rockwall Texas and laid His finger in the palm of each of his hands and declared, "I have called thee and have anointed thee. I have given thee a special anointing to minister to the sick." He went a step further in saying, the Lord Jesus instructed him to tell the people exactly what he was told, stating that if they believed and received it, the power would flow from his hands and effect a healing in their body.

But the point I want to get out there is that, Kenneth Hagin stated that the Lord Jesus told him to fast any time the anointing faded to restore its strength and power.

When I read Hagin's testimony many years ago, I began to ask myself the question: is there an anointing that accompanies fasting? And for many years I peruse through scriptures until today while I was studying the Bible, the Spirit opened my understanding to this truth. And that Is what I want to share with you.

First we need to know that the word "the anointing" is synonymous with the word the Holy Ghost, Spirit, and Power. Many times in scriptures the word the Spirit, power, or the Holy Ghost is use to describe the anointing. For instance, in the book of Zechariah the fourth chapter and the sixth and seventh verses, the Bible say, "... This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain..."

Now what am I getting to? Let's see how the anointing comes through fasting.

Isaiah 58:6
[6]Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

That text has two fold applications. On the one hand, God is speaking through the prophet Isaiah correcting the children of Israel on the way and manner they should fast. On the other hand, that is prophesying about the Lord Jesus Christ on the fast the Father has chosen for him in order to to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke: because in the book of Hebrews scripture says, "... Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me... Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God."

You see, after that the Lord Jesus had been baptized and the Spirit came and abode on him like a dove, he did not do any mighty work until the Spirit led him into the wilderness to fast for forty days and forty nights. And after he had fasted, the Bible say, "And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit." It was after the fast that the anointing became manifest that Jesus declared in the gospel of Luke:

Luke 4:18
[18]The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

In the book of Isaiah the Lord chose a fast: Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? But he could not loose the bands of wickedness until he fasted and the anointing became manifest; he couldn't undo the heavy burdens until he fasted; he couldn't let the oppressed go free until he fasted. It is the anointing that breaks or destroys the yoke!

Isaiah 10:27
[27]And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Acts 10:38
[38]How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

The manifestation of the Spirit or the anointing is usually preceded by a fast. In the book of Acts the thirteenth chapter, the Spirit spoke after Paul and company had fasted.

Acts 13:1-2
[1]Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
[2]As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

Like I had earlier stated, the word Spirit, Holy Ghost, and power are synonymous with the word the "anointing." Now notice in that text that the Holy Ghost or the anointing didn't speak or manifest until those prophets and teachers fasted. Also, notice it was after Jesus fasted for forty days and forty nights scripture says "And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit."
This was exactly what the Lord Jesus, in a vision, said to Kenneth Hagin, 'that he should fast any time the anointing faded to restore its strength and power."

Friend, the anointing comes through fasting!

Notwithstanding, this is one way the anointing is made manifest, not the only way!

Do not hoard knowledge, propagate it!

Jesus is Lord!
Blessed Truth! The scriptures cannot be broken! It doesn't matter or hard and how long the devil may resist the truth ihe cannot overcome Him - The Truth is person. Gob bless you mightily

The former's tenure with all the goodwill and federal might could only deliver Audio projects, substandard roads et all. I need not say much about the current one. The scorecard is there for all to see despite the improved federal allocation and the support from Abuja. Ogun State should do better by giving us better candidates . The system is highly monetized, so nothing will change for now

I normally tell my kids you guys are far behind us when it comes to fun. That explains why we have lots of kids now who refuse to grow up. Lessons from the street. Who would dare allow his kids all that in today's world? Peadophiles, kidnappers, perverted folks lurking all around.

For me life was much better and saner. Yes, technological advancement has improved the quality of life but sanity, respect for life and modesty that once defined us as people has been replaced by insanity. Where are the playgrounds, street football, et all. I had unforgettable forest adventures with my crazy friends. Nowadays it's not even safe to allow children play alone outside in many neighborhoods. Nature is gradually being eroded , toys and gadgets is now the order of the day.

the Iranian government is only trying to protect its people and its resources from external control. Take for example what happened years back when the westerners had a full control of Iranian oil , the people were suffering, no tangible development, every decision is mostly influenced by foreign countries , they only had the resources, they don't benefit from it and now when the iranian rise to fight against these foreign powers everybody is condemning them . It's quite understandable sha when you only read news from western media
This has nothing to do with the western media. What led to the protests in the first place? I guess you are also reading from Aljazeera. A regime that attacks it's neighbors which has demonstrated restraints by not retaliating, what do you call that? I am not against any religion here. What are they protecting their citizens from by executing them and sponsoring terrorism all over the world? This cannot be defended
Foreign AffairsRe: Talks Are Over, Strait Of Hormuz Is Closed Iran Says by Dunamai86(m):
No matter how you look at it the current Iranian Government being spearheaded by the IRGC is a crooked and evil government. Why did they shut out the citizens from the outside world if they have nothing to hide while slaughtering and executing their own people like fowls? Why is there no freedom for the press or opposition in Iran? I shudder when I see people defending this evil regime. A regime that uses her citizens as human shields while they hide in holes is nothing but an irresponsible one at best. Where are their leaders? If not for the plea by Pakistan and the American restraints on Israel their lying machine of a foreign minister and his ilks would be in the ground below now confirming of a truth that their pseudo 72 virgin is nothing but false.

God sees us from the perspective of the finished work of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19. He doesn't see sinful, defeated and weak, No! True life begins when we start seeing ourselves the way He sees us and not the way religion has made us to believe.

They deny the death of their generals only to come back to confirm. It's seems Lai Mohammed grew up in Tehran. No shame at all, celebrating a downed aircraft when they are totally decimated.

if PDP the largest party in Africa could be defeated, it can be done over and over again. It takes years of planning and political integration which non of these pretenders have at the moment. It's possible but whether it will happen is another question
PoliticsRe: NNPP Sympathises With ADC, Blames Crisis On Kwankwaso by Dunamai86(m): 3:21pm On Apr 03
What is happening in ADC is simply "party -jacking" that went bad. Due process wasn't followed. Obviously Jagaban has his roots not only in the ruling party but also in most the of these opposition parties. Armed with state resources he knows the loopholes in these parties and can take them to the cleaners easily using the judiciary. It takes strategic planning to defeat this man. I remember vividly the Lagos Gubernatorial election of 2007. Even PDP with their federal might couldn't capture Lagos. Tinubu is not just in Apc . Most of the structures in other parties are answerable to him. Let's keep our fingers crossed, 2027 will be interesting. The opposition is armed with a potent weapon of campaign at their disposal, but selfishness and greed won't let them see.
