9jamentors: Are you for real?
But Nigerians Crticized him so so hard and abused him like crazy... yee but it was all a propaganda and setup by apc to remove him. The boko haram was highly funded and I suspect apc did it to remove him. Jonathan never for one day arrested anyone for insulting him and he listened to the people. |

Penguin2: The one that will be washed away after one heavy rain like the sakamanje they did in Ikorodu?
I went to Port Harcourt and saw the huge difference between purposeful leadership and the disaster that has been going on in Lagos since Ambode was booted out.
For a state that generates about 20billion monthly as IGR with huge allocation from FAAC, Lagos should be a construction site.
But what do you have?
Estates and communities are the ones who now contribute to build their roads.
Go to Awoyaya axis of Ibeju Lekki. In fact, the entire Ibeju Lekki and even Ajah and Sangotedo, zero internal road network.
But come to Port Harcourt, almost all internal roads are tarred. City is serene and neat.
Unfortunately, fools keep defending the ineptitude in Lagos leadership. Either due to ignorance or self sabotage. u should know that lagos state is not in your league. Trust me i dislike politicians too but when it comes to roads and infrastructures lagos is not in your league |

gbadexy: Different people are viewing posts with various reasons. I tell client to give specific address, not vague description like near one tree or when you get to so place call. One should be able to go there any time earlier to observe the area before the appointment. I tell painters I send for inspection to call me when they get there and when they leave. Even this isn't foolproof against kidnappers for ransom but having known address and phone number by a third person would help monitor movement and assist tracking. All in all, we pray for God's protection always. just yesterday a client asked me to come to his office so he can see and trust me. Its just 30minutes from me yet i billed him 20k for me to come. He started blowing grammer than is it not here to here, bro if u can’t pay then go!!! Never ever go to meet a client without the inspection fee, his transaction on record is an evidence should anything happen. |

AI is not a bad thing, in the nearest future AI will be the thing working and doing the jobs while humans will focus on more important universal issues. Soon you won’t ba asked what you do for a living rather you will be asked what AI do you have working for you. You either adapt now or cry later but humans especially those robot companies workers are so stubborn and hardly adapt to change till they get layed off. AI could effectively run government if properly applied giving room for zero corruption. |

christ007: Grateful to Be Alive – A Cautionary Story
Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. All I can say is thank God I’m alive and back home. What I went through yesterday in Port Harcourt is still hard for me to believe.
Last week, a client reached out, saying he had a job for me. We discussed the project, came to an agreement that worked for him, and he asked me to come on Saturday — which happened to be election day. I told him I’d need part of my workmanship fee upfront so I could come with my boys, check out the site, and prepare properly. He refused, saying he couldn’t send money since we hadn’t worked together before. He promised to refund me if I found a way to get there.
Desperate to secure the job, I took a loan — with my dad standing as guarantor — and traveled to Port Harcourt by night bus on Sunday, hoping to get there early Monday morning. Unfortunately, the journey was delayed and I arrived late at night. I tried calling the client, but his phone was off, so I checked into a cheap hotel.
By 5 a.m., he finally called and said he’d be busy until 10 a.m. Later, he sent someone he claimed was his cousin to pick me up. As we were heading to the site, we were suddenly stopped by two men who started harassing us. Before I could understand what was happening, more men appeared. I realized too late that something was wrong.
I tried to fight my way out, but they overpowered me and beat me up. When I looked around, the supposed "cousin" was gone. That’s when it hit me: it was all a setup.
They took my phone and demanded my father's number. I explained that my family is just managing and I even had to borrow money to make the trip. They contacted my brother and demanded ₦5 million. I laughed — not because it was funny, but because it was absurd. Where would we even get such an amount?
Eventually, they extorted ₦200,000 from my brother and dumped me in the bush with my face covered and nothing but my shorts. Before leaving, they gave me ₦1,000.
Please, let this be a warning to those of us who risk traveling for jobs without knowing the full picture. If a client can’t even send you transport fare, think twice. Don’t put yourself in debt or danger. Right now, my dad and I are in debt of ₦300,000 — not including interest.
Despite everything, I’m still available for work. I’m still your humble guy — CM Interiors. This experience won’t stop me, but I had to share it. Stay safe out there. sorry for all u went through however i blame you 100%. The gaslighters association of property section has made some of you here to believe that only scammers ask for advance payment before work right? Anything that has to do with construction the client must pay first, a good amount not just 50k or are you that desperate to spend your money to work for another person. You have the skills and expertise that is enough for you. If the client is too broke or doesn’t trust you then let him go. Stop sourcing for clients in broke places like nairaland and facebook get into platforms where you will meet rich clients who are at the top of their game bro. Any skills is enough to make you a millionaire if you know how to monitize it properly. Oloshos are charging 500k to 2m per night for doing nothing then you with a hardcore skill is letting one gaslighter tell you he can’t trust you? Haaa bro you really goofed up man but thank God you are alive to give the testimony. The days of rich clients on nairaland was when there was no TikTok and instagram but today bro up your game. I ve worked for a certain love-vendor close to an A list artist, bro made his upfront payment to my kuda account and it got locked, funds choke. No dey run things with brokies, ask for update if you dont have it instead of seeing benz drivers and calling them ritualists. You wan suffer die? |

JuicyEarth: With a good lawyer, these guys will definitely come out.
By this assertion, I am not promoting cyber crime but worried that our security Agencies keeps violating the very Constitution the sworn to protect.
The Military is never designed to make such arrest unless under a joint operation wherein the Police/EFCC takes the credit so as to validate the arrest in court. If this arrest is a sole arrest then the obvious to be stated is that there is no line of communication and cooperation amongst these Agencies.
Another lacuna here is "Warrant of Arrest". Unless Nigeria system is quasi-military, I have not seen anywhere such Warrant is given to the military within their territory. dey find work as a lawyer! Write out all ur lungs |
