Beyoncé just surprise-dropped another album!

This time she had some help, as she and husband Jay-Z released a joint album, "Everything Is Love," Saturday on his Tidal streaming service.

The project has long been rumored and comes as the pair have been thrilling audiences in Europe with their "On The Run II" tour, which will hit North America in July.

The singer gave a sneak peak Saturday of the first video off the album, "Ape S**t," which according to a rep for the project was shot in May at The Louvre in Paris.

Their 6-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, makes an appearance at the end of the song "Boss" where she name-checks her infant siblings, twins Rumi and Sir.

Spanish club Villarreal has signed striker Gerard Moreno from Espanyol.

Villarreal says Tuesday that Moreno has agreed to a five-year contract.

Villarreal already owned 50 per cent of the rights to Moreno, who had previously played for the club.

Espanyol says Villarreal bought the player’s full rights by paying 20 million euros (23.5 million dollars), which was half of his buyout clause.

The 26-year-old Moreno scored 39 goals in three seasons with Espanyol.

Villarreal finished the Spanish league in fifth place last season, earning it a berth to the Europa League.

GOVERNOR Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state Tuesday picked holes in the allegations against him by his Ekiti counterpart, Ayo Fayose over alleged complicity in the gun attack in which four persons were injured last weekend in Ado- Ekiti, Ekiti state. One of the governorship aspirants of the All Progressive Congress Bamidele Opeyemi and three others were shot during a rally to welcome its flag-bearer Kayode Fayemi to the state last Friday by a policeman.

Fayose through his Special Assistant on New Media and Public Communication, Lere Olayinka had accused Akeredolu of importing no fewer than 150 policemen to Ado-Ekiti last Friday to perpetuate the gun attack. Reacting on behalf of Akeredolu, the information and Orientation Commissioner Yemi Olowolabi in a statement entitled “Beyond the lies” in Akure, describes the allegations as “wicked and malicious”

Germany may be the current World Cup champions but it seems things aren’t running as smoothly as manager Joachim Low would like in his training camp.

Indeed, Tuesday’s training session took a turn for the worst after Antonio Rudiger and Joshua Kimmich clashed with one another following a strong tackle from the Chelsea defender.

The Bayern Munich player took objection to Rudiger’s overzealous challenge and proceeded to square up to his international teammate.

According to Bild, assistant coach Miroslav Klose quickly intervened after the two players clashed heads during the confrontation.

The rough and tumble didn’t stop there, with Julian Draxler requiring treatment after taking an elbow to the face. The PSG man wasn’t out of action for long, though, thanks to the help of a quick ice pack.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has insisted that the fact that a former governor of Abia State, Mr Orji Kalu, changed his political party won’t stop the alleged corruption case involving him.

The spokesperson for the commission, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, said on Tuesday during his appearance on Channels Forum, a Channels Television programme which brings opinion leaders and policymakers together to discuss and find solutions to Nigeria’s problems. The EFCC had charged Mr Kalu with fraud allegations running into billions of naira when he served as governor of Abia State.

In January, A legal practitioner, Kingsley Ekwem, declined to testify as a prosecution witness in the trial of the former governor and two others over an alleged N3.2billion fraud. Kalu has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), while members of the opposition party have continued to accuse the APC government of a one-sided anti-corruption

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar labelled reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid as "nonsense".

Neymar, 26, has been linked with a shock switch to Madrid in the close-season despite being contracted with the Ligue 1 champions until 2022.

The Brazil international is returning from foot surgery ahead of the World Cup, but his club future remains a talking point.

However, speaking to reporters on Sunday, Neymar dismissed the rumours linking him to Madrid.

In a huge blow to Super Eagles hopes, forward Moses Simon will not be a part of their squad to the Russia 2018 World Cup.

Complaints have been filed against Facebook, Google, Instagram and WhatsApp within hours of the new GDPR data protection law taking effect. The companies are accused of forcing users to consent to targeted advertising to use the services.

Privacy group noyb.eu led by activist Max Schrems said people were not being given a "free choice".

If the complaints are upheld, the websites may be forced to change how they operate, and they could be fined.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new EU law that changes how personal data can be collected and used. Even companies based outside the EU must follow the new rules if offering their services in the EU.

In its four complaints, noyb.eu argues that the named companies are in breach of GDPR because they have adopted a "take it or leave it approach".

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Haruna Mohammed confirmed this to reporters. It was gathered that about ten persons suspected to be cultists have been killed within Awka the Anambra State capital in the last two days.

David Leitch’s Deadpool 2 is funnier , filthier and definitely stronger in each aspect than its predecessor that released back in 2016. Ryan Reynolds once again does justice (he also has screenplay credits for this one) with his on-point voice-over of the lead protagonist and goes all out with more gags, more gore and a kick-ass villain portrayed by Josh Brolin as Cable, a time-traveling future soldier. Brolin does an outstanding job too and doesn’t remind you of Thanos for once (no matter how hard Deadpool tries to remind us the same throughout the movie).
Deadpool 2016 set the bar high for its sequel, which was still skeptical until the Deadpool 2 teaser dropped and the movie, at most levels, doesn’t disappoint. Although it seems to lose its grasp over the greed for a good sequel when some of its gags overpower the action sequences and vice-versa.
Unlike the 1st installment, Ryan Reynolds’ character has more heart in this one and constantly makes you realize his sentimental, be it his wish to become one of the X-Men or be it reuniting with his love interest Venessa. Although with the number of sarcastic and cliched dialogs throughout the movie, it falls just short of the depth it aimed for. But that’s not what anyone of us will go into the theatre seeking.

Nollywood actress, Aisha Abimbola, popularly known as Omoge Campus, has passed away. She reportedly died in a Canadian hospital. The cause of death was still speculative as at the time of filing this report. Her colleague, Bisola Badmus, broke the news of her death on her Instagram page; while ace actor, Saheed Balogun, also confirmed it to our correspondent on the phone on Wednesday morning.

Other colleagues of the deceased like Ronke Odusanya, Biodun Okeowo, and Odunlade Adekola, have expressed shock over the loss of their colleague. Abimbola who studied Catering and Hotel Management at the Lagos State Polytechnic first featured in TV series, Papa Ajasco.

The police in Gombe on Tuesday charged 50-year-old Samaila Zakari at a magistrates’ court with raping and impregnating his 15-year-old daughter.
In the First Information Report, the police said Zakari of Deba town in Yamaltu/Deba Local Government Area of Gombe State, committed the acts on May 2 and May 8.
The prosecution said that about 10p.m. on the mentioned dates, the accused took his biological daughter to his matrimonial room and had canal knowledge of her without her consent.
The prosecution further stated that the girl was currently carrying a two months’ old pregnancy for her father.
The prosecution said the accused committed incest and rape by his action contrary to section 390 and 282 of the Penal Code.
However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges before the magistrate, Mr Dorabo Sikam.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Baba Shekari, asked for the adjournment of the case to enable the police to complete their investigation.
The magistrate adjourned the case until May 21 and ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody.

Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has told the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, to expect a defeat that will be worse than what he suffered in the 2014 poll.
Fayose said Fayemi should not celebrate yet over what he described as a “pyrrhic victory” secured at the All Progressives Congress (APC) shadow election on Saturday.
The governor who reacted to Fayemi’s victory on his Twitter handle thanked the APC “for giving Ekiti people a candidate they love to vote against at all times.”
He described Fayemi’s victory at the APC primary as a “fire that would be quenched at the July 14 governorship poll.”
Fayose is backing his protégé, who emerged as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate on May 8, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, to succeed him in office.
Fayose tweeted: “I thank the APC for giving Ekiti people a candidate they love to vote against at all times.

No fewer than four persons were feared dead while six others sustained gunshot wounds yesterday in Ogun State as operatives of the Nigeria Customs Service and smugglers engaged in a shootout at Ilara, in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area.
It was gathered the incident happened at the border town with the Republic of Benin at about 8.30am.
Sources said trouble began when suspected smugglers while moving bags of rice in a convoy to Abeokuta, Ogun State, were accosted by a joint anti-smuggling patrol team made up of the operatives of the Nigeria Customs Service and soldiers.
It was said that as the soldiers and the Customs officers attempted to impound the contraband goods, the smugglers put up a stiff resistance, which resulted in an exchange of fire, leaving about four people dead and six others with gunshot wounds.

The Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Abdullahi Maiwada, confirmed the incident but he could not give the exact number of casualties.

He admitted there was an interdiction between the Customs and smugglers at the Ilara border town yesterday.

He said: “I learnt there was an interdiction between our men (Customs) and smugglers in Ilara border town when the smugglers wanted to move bags of rice in their vehicles out of the town to their receivers.

“But I don’t have details of the incident but I will get back to you as soon as I am fully briefed.”

Neymar has admitted that he misses playing with Barcelona stars Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez on a daily basis.

Nasarawa State governor and chairman of the electoral committee on Ekiti State governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, has promised massive security within and outside the venue of the event today.
Addressing a news conference at Damlek Event Centre, Ado-Ekiti venue of the primary yesterday on the level of preparedness for the exercise, said that accreditation would begin at 8 am.
He promised a free, fair and credible exercise.
The media parley was attended by the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Bello Ahmed; Director of Department of State Services, (DSS), Mrs. Promise Iheanacho; Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr. Donatus Ikemefuna and Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr. Ismaila Kugu.
Those to be accredited are aspirants, delegates, journalists, observers and other critical stakeholders.
Apart from the security arrangement, Al-Makura explained that facilities needed for the conveniences of participants had been provided.
The electoral panel chair said dedicated tents had been provided for delegates on the basis of the three senatorial districts: Ekiti South, Ekiti North and Ekiti Central.
Al-Makura said: “Any delegate accredited won’t be allowed to go out for any reason.
“Any delegate that enters the arena must be identified by his party membership card and extra statutory identity like International Passport, Driver’s Licence and National ID Card.
“Such delegates must be identified with the list given to us by the National Secretariat.
“All accreditation must be completed for delegates from all the senatorial zones before voting starts.
“Voting will be done once at a time, and it will start with delegates from Ekiti South, the farthest, then to Ekiti North and Ekiti Central, the closest.
“After identification, delegates will be given ballot paper and they will submit their delegates tag for punching, and they will also submit the ropes of their tags.
“Cubicle for voting area are ready for delegates and delegates will go in and cast their votes. One outlet will be dedicated for voters and no voter will be allowed back into the hall once he votes.
“At the end of the voting, there will be sorting to be followed by counting.”
He also said the panel would not allow any aspirant or delegate that wears branded materials to the venue of the primary.
Responding to a question, Al-Makura stressed that some agents that were barred for their involvement in the fracas that broke out in the botched primary would be arrested if found in the vicinity of the primary.
Al-Makura disclosed that some of the hoodlums arrested for disrupting the primary election previously were being prosecuted.
Party secures new venue as 32 aspirants jostle for ticket
All is now set for the rescheduled governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State billed to hold in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, today.
Not willing to take chances, the Electoral Committee chairman and Nasarawa State governor, Alhaji Tanko Al-Makura, has secured a new venue for the rescheduled primary.
It will now hold at Damlek Event Centre, along Afao Road.
Speaking with reporters during a tour of the town to get an alternative venue, Al-Makura said the event centre was okay for the primary election, given its space and facilities.
He said the primary would be conducted without any fear of bad weather as was experienced during the botched primary.
The governorship primary, which initially held at Oluyemi Kayode Stadium on May 5, was marred by violence as some delegates and suspected thugs disrupted the process and smashed the ballot boxes.
The aggrieved delegates and thugs claimed that the process was skewed in favour of one of the aspirants.
The party’s national leadership, after consultations with the aspirants and the electoral committee, picked today as the new date for the primary.

A total 2,409 delegates are expected to cast their ballots for the aspirants of their choice.
Al-Makura said arrangements had been made for the successful conduct of the primary, including the security of those that would perform one role or the other in the shadow poll.
At the time of filing this report, Al-Makura was fine-tuning last-minute arrangements with the state APC leaders at the hotel where he lodged in Ado-Ekiti.
The shadow election has become the talk of the town as residents discuss it as newsstands, bus stops, markets, shops, offices and junctions.

The Kano State Hisbah Board on Wednesday said it arrested no fewer than 92 beggars in the Kano metropolis for allegedly contravening the law against street begging. The Officer-in-Charge of the board’s Anti-Begging Unit, Dahiru Nuhu, said the beggars were arrested around 1 am at the Civic Centre, Yankura Market, as well as Yankaba bus stop.

According to him, 89 of the arrested suspects were street urchins, aka Almajiris, aged between nine and 12, adding that most of the beggars were from Bauchi, Borno, Kaduna, Kebbi, Katsina and the Niger Republic. The Kano State Government, through the Hisbah Board, had banned street begging in the state, warning that anyone caught violating the law would be arrested.

All the street beggars arrested within the period of the ban, who were not from Kano State, were sent back to their respective states of origin. Meanwhile, a patrol team of Federal Road Safety Corps, Idah, Kogi State, on Wednesday rescued a man who wanted to hang himself on a tree. PUNCH Metro gathered that the FRSC officials were informed by an okada rider that the unidentified man was attempting to take his life by hanging on a tree.
