My greatest joy is that Nairaland has never been source of major food for me. Its just a place to make small sales to keep the day going till major offline buyers comes. So many crooked low ballers on this forum.

You see how the creepy lady you quoted mischievously avoided the part where they will talk down on your goods when you refuse to sell. She made it look like the seller didn't state his price and said no to a bargain by the buyer.

Most of this buyers will tactically start talking down on your property when they see you are unflinching. You tell someone car is 1.7 million. They start posting links of dead cars sold for lower price.

I put up a PS3 for sale at 43k because I know the quality and content. You ask me price. I say 43k last. You price 25k. I said No. The onus is on the buyer to getout and go and find cheaper consoles. But no. They start giving you links of those selling theirs for lower prices. You go to the link and see a dead beat, skeleton of a console. You ask buyer to go ahead and buy that one with lower price. He says no that its mine he wants to buy at low price.

Majority of Nigerians are generally very wicked people. A few are nice. They are only happy when they cheat you successfully. Then they can go home and call you Maga. Same scenario played out in the car and I had to ask the buyer to come and carry after too much pestering. He lived to tell the tales.

I put up my generator for sale and someone tells me, in a rude manner, to give it out for free to someone else.

I created a thread for an AC I wanted to dispose before I got wind of this thread and someone, in that same rude manner, tells me I should find someone in my street to give it to. In the midst of back and forth tirade of words, he goes ahead and reports me to a mod and I get blocked and all my ads threads (including the ones that have nothing to do with the AC) vanish into thin air.

Sometimes, I wonder what that man had to gain by all that animosity and even the mod who did the blocking.

Anyways, I have decided to drink more water, mind my business, respond tactfully where necessary and create as much humour I can when an offence comes my way.

It was hard money that was used to purchase those items. If someone thinks they were stolen or is searching for stolen items to purchase, they can visit the offices of law enforcement agencies or even the law courts in order to purchase stuffs at auction prices.

Nevertheless, the purpose of this thread remains clearance sales. If someone offers to sell stuffs at prices that defeat the purpose of this thread, it behoves on either buyers to ignore the seller or mods take action after rational consideration of the concerned advert. A buyer shouldn't expect a honest hustling man to smile at low-ball offers like they both went to the market together to purchase the said goods.

This is my opinion and I believe I'm entitled to it. Same applies to your opinion as well.
