Let us just end it here. According to the Bible if you divorce and marries another one, you have committed adultery. You can't even divorce your wife except she commits adultery. Let us be sincere with ourselves. Politics apart, Tinubu has really done well in this issue of security. But then many people forget so soon. I am a Christian and I live in the south west. It's very difficult for me to accept and deny the fact that there is genocide in Nigeria. Why it is difficult for me to accept the issue of genocide in Nigeria is that in Nigeria both Christians, Muslims and traditional religion worshipers are killed on daily basis especially in the north. It also happens in the south too. To be honest the killings under the former presidents (Jonathan and Buhari are far greater than what we have now. We all saw the rate of killings in plateau, Benue and Southern Kaduna under president Buhari. We all saw how churches barracks, offices and even UNO office was attacked during Jonathan's administration. To me both Christians, Muslims and traditional worshipers are killed in Nigeria.
Why I also want to accept the fact that there is genocide in Nigeria is that why is it that it's Muslims that are involved in perpetrating this evil? How many of them have been arrested. Leah Shuaibu was killed,till today nobody was arrested. We have many cases in the north where Christians were mobbed and killed by Muslims and no arrest was made. We have never had of Christian killing Muslims for blasphemy or for practising their religion? Then something is happening and this started in 1804 when Usman Danfodio started his jihad. Remember the slogan, 'From the desert to the sea'. But honestly, we cannot blame Tinubu for this. The man is trying his best but his best is still not yielding acceptable result. To forgive the so called repentant terrorists is not really good. They have killed many people, let them also go to where they sent their victims to.
Kwara South,where I hail from used to be very peaceful but today things have changed. Fulani who are mostly Muslims have turned the state upside down. In my home town vigilante group was set up. If the killings only occur among Muslims, nobody will call it religious genocide.
We are made to believe that Islam is a religion of peace but is it that the word peace has another meaning in Islam. How can you kill people who are working on their farms and then you begin to south tekbir ?.
But then with this threat how will America fight the so called genocide? Will everyone in the country be affected irrespective of one's religion? Time will tell.
