Amala actually comes in about 3 or more variants.

The mainstream and most popular is Amala Iṣu ( yam flour). However, there's Amala Lafun ( Cassava flour) which is very popular with the Egba of Abeokuta and called Lafun for short. I am aware of the plantain flour too and amala ọkababa which is no longer as popular because it's now milled with wheat.

If you are Yoruba, you will know this and you can learn about it if you are foodie. For each type of amala, most Yoruba people prefer to prepare it right from the raw tuber or grain, dry and mill it with each using age old secret recipe to improve flavor and taste just like we have in variants of Yoruba garri ( Garri Ijebu is different from Garri Ọyọ in flavor, taste, texture etc).

My point is that plantain elubọ is not enjoying same palate preference Amala iṣu enjoys so it is not enjoying massive scale up production. It should ordinarily be cheaper than elubọ isu.

You can try each of the 4 variants of Amala I just shared with you and compare. You can equally try different variants of same amala type and compare. You may soon find out that you are missing a lot

Some people even prefer amala lafun most, more than amala iṣu, ọka or ogede agbagba

North central eye the Presidency come 2031 Atiku contesting will destroy their chances he will only receive support from a few North east and North west states i dont think the party would want a candidate like him.

Lets the frank,if Anthony Joshua was based in Nigeria all his youthful life with no opportunity of migrating to the UK ever there is 99% chance he would end up being a street thug with his fighting skills, probably breaking bottles and fighting for some useless politician who cares less about his future.
