What is the Igbo scientific word for "Carbohydrates?" |
ChinenyeN:Chinenye what are you up to these days? I have created an Instagram account out of your chemical elements. See it here: https://instagram.com/igbochemistry I hope that's okay. |
[img][/img] A few medical terms in #Igbo language. Follow us on YouTube for Igbo math and science videos https://YouTube.com/@mmutadiuto.

Wearing clothes never made anybody civilized. I live in America, and let me tell you white people have nudist colonies and nude parades. Clothing is a social construct and a marketing ploy that they sold to you to make money. Just another way they have washed your head and stolen your history. And here you are fighting yourselves over something that should not concern you while your environment is falling apart and your natural resources are being siphoned from under your feet. What a shame! |
Yes, there is a difference between intelligence and literacy. More of our people need to understand that English language is not a measure of intelligence. Did you know you can learn maths and sciences in Igbo language. That is what I aim to do in my YouTube channel. Will you call somebody who understands nuclear physics in Igbo language unintelligent or an illiterate? ![]() Please check out my YouTube channel and let me know what you think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuyOOyyI10Y |
I agree. That is why I have started a YouTube channel teaching math and science in Igbo language. Check out this video and get a taste of the power of learning in our Indigenous language. If you should watch it, leave a comment and let me know if I am on the right track... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuyOOyyI10Y I also have a playlist of Igbo science, math, and tech tutorials at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Auu5jZm8kWo&list=PLYOXTBTMsDbsDQlduL6n4WmSNW7wENDqb&index=2 |
I am sure there are some. Are you open to a virtual tutor, though? That might be easier to find! |
It's funny how people who don't want to learn likek to hold back people who do. Onye na CHI ya.
|
People who do not want to learn should not stand in the way of people who do. Some people are just afraid of being left behind. It takes a village with all kinds of skills and talent to raise a child.
|
Great write up, nwanne! We have to encourage our children to continue these traditions. |
sunnysunny69:Where do you find the podcasts you listen to. Are you in Naija? |
My brother has a school called which teaches Igbo in Washington, DC. Let me know if you want me to connect you. I am well plugged into the Igbo community in USA. |
Check out the fan art I made using Akagu version of Nsibidi (found here http://blog.nsibiri.org/2017/09/akagu-igbo-alphabet.html ) I also ended up making it using Roman Characters and a font that resembles the font in the Black Panther movies. What do you all think?

@chinenyeN, do you have a blog. Everywhere I see you on this forum you are saying some very deep and interesting things! |
