I bought two (2) return ticket SMG746 for my self and a minor. We got no discount for this purchase. The cost of the two tickets is about =N= 2,463,406.00. Notably, the return leg for both of us is about =N=966,000.00. Due to change of plans, I had to seek for a refund. For record purpose, Qatar Airline was use for the travel.

By Qatar refund policy 80% of the fee was to be refunded. Wakanow waited to refund about 10%, which is based on a discounted price for one od the ticket.

Wakanow lied that partially used ticket cannot be refunded by Airline but the same Qatar Airline refunded a friend. Wakanow uses all forms of lies discourage ignorant clients from seeking appropriate refund. You may not make sense out of this now until you are in it.

Wakanow had the effrontery to close my Refund Request Case in the middle of complaint. I requested a decision maker to get in touch with me for better service, they ignored and sent a whatsapp message.

Wakanow is really a scam- but I didnt figure this out early enough. Apparently, there has been numerous compliants online about their service.

Admin please let this be on your front page for Nigerians to see and steer clear.

My advice
Why not try free schools in Poland ... Coming back to Nigeria is the last option (Last being after you have tried other option). so exhaust other alternatives first. Living expense is cheap n jobs are pretty much available.

Regardless of whatever decision you go with ... Please hold your head up high. It's okay to try and fail hopefully you are still young enough to try again. Be proud of yourself pls. Pls consider Poland.

The Nigerian National Pledge was created by an eminent Nigeria; Prof (Mrs.) Felicia Adebola Adedoyin in 1976. Professor Adedoyin who was born on the 6th of November 1938 is the 2nd of 6 Children and a princes from the Iji ruling house of Shaki in Shaki West LG, Oke Ogun area of Oyo State.

Her children were already acquainted with reciting the Oath of Allegiance in their school in New York, USA and also the State Pledge(Which was introduced on 1 June, 1976) in Achimotu School in Accra Ghana. Instinctively, out of childhood inquisitiveness and assertiveness, they sought to know why they didn't recite any Pledge while they were in Nigeria. Of course their mother told them the home truth; their fatherland had no National Pledge. They eventually provided the necessary challenge that propelled their mother to conceive and originate a National Pledge for Nigeria, which she achieved in June 1976. Her creative work while aged 38, was featured in the Daily Times of July 15, 1976 in an article titled "Loyalty to the Nation, Pledge".

Barrister Adewusi who was a mutual friend of the Adedoyins and Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo, read the Daily Times article and eventually presented it to Obasanjo in August 1976. Gen. Obasanjo, who was then Head of State, accepted the work and modified it.

In September 1976, he decreed that all school children should recite the Pledge in their assemblies daily. Gen. Obasanjo acknowledged this rare feat in his book "Not My Will" (1990 at pg. 118).

For years, I have learnt that the name of the person that composed the National Pledge was Prof (Mrs.) Felicia Adebola Adedoyin. It was after 23 years I got to know that it was my Big Mother that wrote it.

The name was misspelt. Her name is Prof (Mrs.) Felicia Adebola ADEYOYIN.

Had to even reconfirm from her.
