Tinubu 2023: Makinde Provides Campaign Vehicle For Jagaban

The Lagos state House of Assembly member representing Ifako-Ijaiye II constituency in the 9th Legislative Assembly who was re-elected back into the House in 2019, used this a way to show support to the APC chieftain.

A Twitter user, Aye Mojubar posted a picture of the campaign vehicle and tagged it: “It's finally here - Tinubu 2023.”

With Bola Ahmed Tinubu yet to officially declare his intension to run for the 2023 presidency, many observers and political commentators have been touting him as a potential candidate.

This gesture by Rasheed Makinde all but confirmed the interest of Tinubu to run for 2023 Presidency. His campaign might start anytime soon following this recent discovery.

Three years to the general elections, the likes of Sanusi Lamido, Kwankwaso, El-Rufai, Yemi Osinbajo and so on have all been touted as Buhari’s replacement.

‘Deceased’ Girl Buried 2 Years Ago Returns Home

Shock and awe were the main reactions in the Masala township in Ndola, Zambia after a girl believed to have been dead for 2 years, walked back home.

The girl identified as Winnie Lufunja was said to have died 2 years prior due to an illness and she was buried.

She was 17 at the time reports the Zambia Daily Mail.

According to Winnie’s parents, her body was even viewed in an open casket and there was a church service and funeral and all before she was buried.

The girl had been buried three days after her demise on November 12, 2016.

The parents shocked by this incident even revealed the grave number (73) and apparently, her bones are still in the grave. This was confirmed after her body was exhumed on Monday.

Her ‘bones’, a blue blanket, bottle and other items that her mother identified were found in her grave.

The parents have also submitted the death certificate and birth certificate to the police to help establish the truth.

There has been no story from Winnie herself as to what really happened and the girl along with her parents are at the police station as they wait for a DNA to further prove/disprove the case.

Days rolled into weeks, weeks into months and months into thousands of years. Man endured pains of death all these while but couldn't anymore.

HealthWays To Find Out Your Genotype Without Blood Test by Dyoungstar(op):
Author: Rachael Odusanya

UPDATED: A YEAR AGO

Category: Ask Legit

The genotype test is now popular all over the world because it can give a lot of new exciting information about your ancestors, the special features of your family, and perhaps even psychological traits. You are probably asking yourself “How do I know my genotype without going to the hospital?”. Find out if it is possible.

What is genotype test?
The genotype test can give you a lot of information about your family and bloodline that really amazes you. Also, when you know your genotype, it helps a lot with health matters, and thanks to this knowledge you can prevent some dangerous illnesses.

First of all, you should know there is no need to determine the code of entire genome, only snippets of it will be enough. The snippets of a genome are the rare DNA parts, which make us different. For instance, they make some people blond-haired, while others are dark-haired. As far as the science is concerned, the genetic scientists are aware of the existence of ten million different kinds of snippets, which means there are ten million differences in genetic set in the world, maybe even more.

In this article, you will have a chance to learn about various types of genotype, and of course, finding out your genotype without having to donate your blood.

Types of genotype
Firstly, we need to learn what genotype is. Genotype is the carrier of all genes that are located in the cell. The word genotype is used when we refer to genes which are inherited from ancestors to descendants. However, even those organisms that have the same genotype have a lot of distinctive features, which makes every person unique and different.

Genotype is a system where genes perform interactions with each other, influence each other and form genetic combinations. Every gene has its own genotypic environment. By the type of interaction, the genotypes can be the following:

Epistatic – those which suppress actions of various non-allelic genes.
Hypostatic – genotypes which are suppressed by the allelic genes.
Pleiotropic – those which simultaneously affect the manifestation of a few symptoms.
Fatal – genotypes that can reduce the embryo’s viability, often to the point when it dies.
Sublethal – those genes which do the same as fatal genes, but they cause the embryo’s death before the reproductive period starts.
Modifiers – genes that can alter the manifestation of the other genes.
Mutators – those which drastically change body signs and person’s preferences.
Except that, there are four genotypes that determine traits: AA, AS, AC, and SS. SS genotype means that the person will have sickle cell anemia, so you will have to research genetic compatibility before marrying your partner. The health of your future children is another reason to go through the genotype test.

Genotype test procedure
The scientists find out the new information about genotype every day, and there are a lot of impressive discoveries. Everyone knows for sure that sooner or later, genetic testing will become a popular procedure, which many people will want to undergo. The doctor will only have to look at the patient’s genetic map, and all the answers about the person’s characteristics will be clear. Besides, it will help those who need the individual medicine for their particular diseases.

Nowadays, it is quite difficult to find the genetic specialists in Nigeria. However, people can find out their genotype in other innovative ways because the science is moving forward, and people can learn about their genotypes even without going to the hospital.

If you prefer finding out your genotype with the help of blood test, you can visit the hospital nearby, and the doctor will take the blood sample from your arm. When they have enough blood, they can take it for the analysis to the laboratory. The laboratory test determines the level of hemoglobin in your blood. Genotype can also be determined with the help of skin or hair sample. This is usually how people undergo the DNA test that determines their relation to someone.

However, there is an exclusive opportunity to undergo the complete professional genetic test, and you will not have to go to the hospital for it. Read about the procedure below.

How to know your genotype without blood test?
A person can donate the DNA for deep analysis, which is held by the American company based in California. This company is called 23andMe and is one of the biggest genetic projects. The Time Magazine acknowledged 23andMe, calling it the best invention of the year 2008 – it even overcame the Large Hadron Collider.

23 is the number that stands for 23 chromosomes, which contain the genetic information about people. All you need to do is spit into the test tube and send it to the laboratory. You will be provided with your own personal genetic book with plenty of information about your ancestors, special features of your DNA, and other important facts that the scientists could find out about you based on your saliva.

Nowadays, the test costs $99, and the premium version of it costs $199. Sometimes it is not so easy to take action, because some countries have laws that forbid transporting saliva through the national border. There are a few laboratories in Nigeria which offer genetic expertise, but it is for a much higher price. However, if you are really keen on this idea, you can send your saliva in a tube from Nigeria to the United States, and get your genetic results on the official site of 23andMe. If you express the wish to go through this test on the official site and register for it, you will be sent the instructions together with the test tube by mail. You will have to spit into the tube until you fill it – the instructions strongly advise you to rub cheeks intensely for thirty seconds. When you have completed the process, you will have to shut the tube, and then send it back to 23andMe Company.

You will be sent the information about the illnesses that you are predisposed to according to your genes, and some health recommendations. Sometimes there is no serious news in this section, but if this is your case, you should be happy because it indicates that your health state is good. There can also be information about the pills you are sensitive to. The genetic test will give you information about your genes, and sometimes your bloodline can be traced as far back as Neanderthal genes. This is one of the favorite features of those people who go through this genetic test because everyone would love to know which nationality they descended from.

23andMe website also has a social network, where more than 200 thousand people can communicate with each other and search for their relatives. They also have an opportunity to meet new people. So, perhaps if you want to meet someone genetically compatible with you, you can use this website. This site also has a lot of interesting information about genetic studies. It can be compared to Wikipedia for those who are interested in genetic science.

This article was about finding out your genotype without having to go to the medical institution. Except that, you have learned about genotype compatibility. Hopefully, the new information will help you when you decide to get invested into studying your own genotype.
