At least 2 refineries are ignited every single week. These are the refineries with some of the largest refining capacities in Russia oo. They will come and tell us that the refineries are not worth being defended with the so called best air defence system in the world. I think you missed the point, even though the Americans indirectly orchestrated the war, the war is still happening in Europe, which makes it very much a problem for Europe, they should have a say except if they are vassals.

The Americans have threatened to pull support if the Europeans don't workout a peace plan, then Europe would bear the financial burden alone.

Europe is only interested in a cease-fire because the US threatened to stop it's involvement.

Sadly no country in Europe can guarantee the security of Ukraine without the commitment of the US.
