What breaks my heart most is that all CBN's effort to give Nigerians upper hand and make us control our economy by discouraging forex for import and encouraging loans and forex to manufacturers, isnt being utilize , it is still Chinese, Europeans, Indians and lebanese that would setup this local factory and still benefit from all this, while our Politicians take money abroad, while our youths are worked like donkeys and paid peanut by this indians and the rest of the youths simply do nothing but wail online

CBN already made it known that $1.5bn dollars is spent annually that is N540,750,000,000 billion up for grab annually., Smart Graduates would already group them self into clusters of small professionals and understudy the local fulani method of rearing cattles and modernise it to give more yeild, and make a perfect bankable Business Plan and aggressively begin looking for AFDB loan, Bank Of Agriculture Loan, CBN Anchor borrowers Loan , that of Bank of Industries or Partnership and Investors even if its to partner Yahooboys who are trying to go legit, Afterall all graduate were given a project topic and we all wrote it spending money on research just to earn a mere certificate

One has to wonder why all these universities do no have mini projects that can bud into businesses on variety of needs that could have generated local businesses.

What about local and state governments instead of looking for forex and foreign imports.

Not FG... the Southern states. They r still playing politics of APC/PDP while the Northern states are moving on.. FG didn't force any of these states to bring lands. The states go to FG to advertise available of land for investors,FG directs them to CBN n when the investors go to CBN n say " Okay,u have said we should not import these n these. So how do we start producing them in Nigeria?", then CBN directs them to the Northern states who r willing to add lands n other free incentives to aid. the investors. Meanwhile the Southern states r doing "my land"," our land" ""fulanization"...

Saudi Arabia has said its oil output will return to normal by the end of this month, with half the production lost in drone attacks on two key facilities already restored.
The news immediately calmed the oil markets, with the price falling 7% on Tuesday after Monday's huge spike.
Also, President Donald Trump said it was no longer necessary to release reserves from US emergency stocks.
Fears Saturday's strikes would hit global supplies sent prices 20% higher.
"Production will be back to normal by the end of September," Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman told a press conference, adding that the state oil giant Aramco had emerged "like a phoenix from the ashes" after the attack. A Saudi official also said plans for the stock market listing of Aramco, would continue "as is".

The drone attacks on plants in the heartland of Saudi Arabia's oil industry hit the world's biggest petroleum-processing facility as well as a nearby oilfield, both of which are operated by Aramco, which is being prepared for what is expected to be the world's biggest share market listing.

The two Saudi facilities account for about 50% of the country's oil output, or 5% of daily global oil production.
Saudi Arabia is the world's biggest oil exporter, shipping more than seven million barrels daily. Saudi stocks stood at 188 million barrels in June, according to official data.
The US has blamed the attacks on Iran, and had said it could release more of its strategic reserves on the market to restore calm to prices. The US has about 416 million barrels of oil in commercial storage held by the likes of oil producers and refineries, based on data from the US Energy Information Administration .

On its surface, the plan was simple: gene-hack mosquitoes so their offspring immediately die, mix them with disease-spreading bugs in the wild, and watch the population drop off. Unfortunately, that didn’t quite pan out.
The genetically-altered mosquitoes did mix with the wild population, and for a brief period the number of mosquitoes in Jacobino, Brazil did plummet,
according to research published in Nature Scientific Reports last week. But 18 months later the population bounced right back up, New Atlas reports — and even worse, the new genetic hybrids may be even more resilient to future attempts to quell their numbers.
Mosquitoes capable of transmitting dangerous diseases like Zika, dengue, and malaria are spreading farther than ever, thanks to global climate change. To combat them, scientists have sometimes tried to alter the bugs ’ genetics so that they couldn’t reproduce.
“The claim was that genes from the release strain would not get into the general population because offspring would die,” Yale researcher Jeffrey Powell, one of the researchers behind the new paper, told New Atlas . “That obviously was not what happened.”
In Brazil, the wild mosquitoes mated with the gene-hacked population and created a new sort of genetic hybrid that’s more robust than the wild bugs were. While the new variant isn’t inherently dangerous — or at least not additionally so — the scientists behind the project say they don’t fully understand how things will change for future generations.
“It is the unanticipated outcome that is concerning,” Powell told New Atlas.
