Wellcome. Just joined as well but i am a bmw owner (2006 E90 318i). What attracts you to BMW and which would you like to own first?

Hello guys, great forum, I am about to get my first BMW, however I can only afford a naija used for now. Upon extensive search I am down to 4 offers, a [b]320i 2010, 320i 2006, 328i 2007 and 525i 2007. I don't have problem accessing parts, and a good BMW mechanic, I just need expert opinion on which is the best option for a first time BMW owner like myself, especially as they are all naija used. Also is any of this option bedeviled with same overheating problems that koja BMW had. A friend of mine had one that nearly ruined his life.

I'd advise that you go for the 2007 328i because the inline 6ers are more reliable than the inline 4s. Also, the fuel consumption is almost the same under similar driving conditions. However, if you want more interior space then go for the 525i. Also know that BMWs do not tolerate poor maintenance. That means you need to use the appropriate parts and liquids especially engine oil. Always check the owners manual for specification before you use anything on your car.
