You still don’t have common sense. It’s your kind of person that would copy everything, including the person’s name in an exam.
luxy44:

Let me leave you with your ignorance, i have exposed your stupidity and the intelligent ones must have seen it....that is enough for me, Mr Automobile.

Like i said earlier, the 2005 BMW x5 3.0 and its 4.4i counterpart share the same fuel consumption.

Done and dusted!!!

Thrash.....show me the comparison! You just dey yarn nonsense. Both cars BMW x5 , 3.0 and 4.4 has the same fuel consumption. I used both cars for 4years....so keep your stupid theory until you show me a proof

Hello guys, great forum, I am about to get my first BMW, however I can only afford a naija used for now. Upon extensive search I am down to 4 offers, a [b]320i 2010, 320i 2006, 328i 2007 and 525i 2007. I don't have problem accessing parts, and a good BMW mechanic, I just need expert opinion on which is the best option for a first time BMW owner like myself, especially as they are all naija used. Also is any of this option bedeviled with same overheating problems that koja BMW had. A friend of mine had one that nearly ruined his life.

I'd advise that you go for the 2007 328i because the inline 6ers are more reliable than the inline 4s. Also, the fuel consumption is almost the same under similar driving conditions. However, if you want more interior space then go for the 525i. Also know that BMWs do not tolerate poor maintenance. That means you need to use the appropriate parts and liquids especially engine oil. Always check the owners manual for specification before you use anything on your car. If you want to know more check the reviews on youtube, there are lots of them on these cars there.

Less useful posts nowadays.
Nairaland is gradually loosing its value. I do tell people and boast then that you can virtually get solutions to all your headaches then but now e-rats and e-politicians are too much. They will even bring useless digression to a useful thread.

If you can afford the repairs/replacement of part in the USA, go ahead.

You probably bought an X3 with poor maintenance from the previous owner.

You should indicate your location, for possible referrals to competent technical hands.

I assume the spare tyre you are looking for is the one popularly known as 'take me home'. It may be hard to get the exact size. It was difficult to get a replacement for my car when the factory fitted spare tyre got expired. All the best in your search.

Dear all, please i need your advice.
Am about to join the BMW family, with the 2013 BMW X3 Xdrive28i. i need advice on reliability and performance, possible problems to expect, budget range and how to get it here in Nigeria. I currently use a Toyota corolla, but due to frustration from fake parts and unreliability, i intend to sell it to archive my dreams. Thanks.

Please house, do help a friend. I am about buying a BMW 120i( 2004) , a Nigerian used and a first car. I don't know much about BMWs generally but since this is a compact car with a impressive fuel consumption, I deduce it should be good for a beginner.
I humbly need a sincere advice.
