This is gory, but the truck drivers must not be ambushed anymore. These perpetrators could be ipob, if they could kill and behead their own people, who says.. "Truck driver ambushing" is your own story. I hope DSS invited you too for the false reporting. Everyone knows the activity of Fulani herdsmen all over the nation. Your criminal journalism is not going to change it. |

aribisala0: Killed? Really?
By whom?
Why are you people so comfortable with telling lies Ok, let's round up. Nzeogwu executed a coup, he was killed. Ironsi messed up, he was killed. Igbo army officers killed people, most of them have been killed. When, how, and why did you end up organizing Igbo-killing parties to eliminate more than 3 million people who had nothing whatsoever to do with the coup? That's the question I have at this time. After you got your vengeance, why did you go on killing innocent people? If you don't answer the question, just understand that you are one of the reasons why this country will never go forward, because you will be laying the foundation for Fulani, Yoruba, and Hausa massacre in the future for any slightest reason and offence committed by a group of your tribesmen. |

But, you, at your street corner beer parlor insist that it was. Ok, let's say ALL the killers were Igbos, does it justify the organized killing of more than 3 million Igbos even after Ironsi and almost every Igbo officer had been killed? |

aribisala0: All this nonsense is irrrelevant
The fact is there was a coup.
Who said or did what is of no consequence
Why did Ironsi accept to become Head of state in the First place ? Was he second in command
Since it was not an Ibo coup why not let the civilians sort it out?
There was no basis for him to become Head of State in the first place . That is the Genesis of our woes. If we accept that it was not an Ibo coup and that the coup had failed . Is Ironsi becoming Head of state the next logical step?
Ojukwu refused to accept that the coup was successful and was prepared to use force . He fought and lost terribly History and search for historical truth and facts are scholarly activities. If you're so steeped in tribal and sectional bias, this task maybe impossible for you. Nigeria experienced her 1st coup among naive younger officers, the older officers somehow put it down, and the highest military officer at the time took power reluctantly, and was working on returning the regime to the civilians, and here you are fixated on a silly question about why and how Ironsi became head of state at the time---unless it was an Igbo coup. Witness and evidence have shown that it was not an Igbo coup, but had Igbo officers among the participants, but you are buried in your 50 year old false narrative that it's Igbo coup. That's the only reason why Gowon allowed wholesome murder of Igbos all over Nigeria. If it was an Igbo coup, maybe the blood thirsty vampires would have stopped the killings after they wiped off most Igbo military officers and Ironsi himself, no, they continued killing children, women and old people. |

ChiefJusticeFuc: What of the tens of thousands of minority people that were murdered , raped and even eaten by your Biafran soldiers ?
The problem I have with this Ibo victimhood nonesense is that it seeks to absolve ibos of their evil acts and hide their atrocities committed on others.
You were no victims .
The real victims are those murdered in cold blood on Jan 15 and the minorities in the old eastern region and Midwest.
The minorities sufferings have been relegated to the dustbin of history because of the unnecessary lies and noise from Ibo victimhood crooners.
This is how Jews are screaming victims to obfuscate their history of atrocities in Weimar Germany and the Soviet Union prior to the second World war.
The real victims then and till this day are the minority people of the SS who just wanted to have their own region without the ibos Let's agree one thing: Anybody involved in killing, especially of civilians has to answer to that. The government is the one responsible for arresting, investigating, and prosecuting these cases. Where were they during Gowon regime? If you refuse to answer the question, then all your discussion and points will be childishly hollow. |

A coup is a criminal enterprise A military Head of State is a constitutional abnormality It comes about by a coup
It is not a military posting so there is nothing like NEXT IN LINE
The successful coupists are the next in line even if it is a captain
So stop these Ibo lies and self deception
In 1983 Shagari was overthrown. The Chief of Army Staff, Wushishi was Buhari's senior. He was booted out and Buhari became head of State
Many of Buhari's senior remained and served under him
e.g Domkat Bali
After Buhari was overthrown Bali remained as Minsiter of Defence under Babangida for a while Fake military historian, the circumstances were quite different in 1966. First, Gowon claimed ignorance of who's behind the 2nd coup. Next, he claimed that he didn't know that Ironsi had been killed, infact he said that he didn't know the whereabout of his boss, Ironsi. That was why Ojukwu told him to notify the second in command. |

Nobody can deny that Igbos were massacred prior to the war; it's well documented in local and foreign media. First, Gowon claimed ignorance of the state sponsored killings as Igbo and Igbo-looking innocent civilians were slaughtered by what now appears like a well coordinated attacks. It was also known that Britain helped and encouraged these killings. My question is, of the 3 million killed, how many of these killers did Gowon's government arrest prosecute and punish? |

How many people were killed by non-igbo officers in the coup. Focus on the full list of the coup participants, asking for who killed who and by whom is ridiculous. By participating in a coup, one is automatically responsible for any killing. Unfortunately, and according your modern day wise men like Reno Omokri, Ignos killed all the nonIgbos, because he had to make it an Igbo coup----- in order to ensure his next meal. If there's going to be an authority in the happenings of the Nigerian army, I would rather take someone like IBB over a drifter like yourself and Reno any day.
