This guys case marked the time Buhari figured out a way to control the judiciary in addition to controlling the legislative branches!
He I stalled an illiterate mallam totally loyal to him as an individual, not to the nation.
Sadly, Tinubu is following in Buhari's footsteps and even worse.

He was imprisoned for drug trafficking and not mistaken identity. Mistaken identity is not a criminal offense. His defense that led to his release was mistaken identity. You guys should stop this nonsense abeg.

"He was mistakenly arrested for drug dealing", that's how nations defend their citizens in foreign countries.
She should emphasize how confusing identity issues could be solved for Nigerians overseas. Many Nigerians answer Emeka, Seun, Bitrus, Okon, etc. Foreigners sometimes can't tell one from another. If Abike is not obsessed and possessed by Igbos did this or did that( she wants to cast aspertions on them and show how much better her Yoruba people are) she would have become a true spokesperson for all Nigerians.

I feel so sorry for Abike Dabiri. She’s doing a great job helping Nigerians in diaspora get out of trouble but folks from the south east keep doing everything to disrespect her for no good reason other than her ethnicity.

In the case of the said Ihejerika, she visited him in prison and took up his case with the help of a pro bono lawyer till he was released. Now, see the way Ihejerika’s people are paying her back with hatred and insult. Smh.

Abike has a checkered history with tribalism in Nigeria.
This case is about a mistaken ID, but she has to emphasize drug dealing, because it tallies with her previous prejudice about Igbos and drug dealing. Yes, she did a good job with the lawyer and former minister, but she should stop writing trash about anything Igbo, because her prejudice comes out clearly and subliminally.

You are very correct with your view. However, I wasn’t only attacking Dangote’s shady deals; I also pointed out that NNPCL is very corrupt. I was more trying to let those who see Dangote as a saint or as someone who mean well for Nigerians realize that Dangote is far from it. Dangote’s entry into building the refinery was due to ulterior motives and taking advantage of the corrupt state of the country. The government in place continues from where others stopped, which is why he is in the crossfire—they are all after their own pockets and not for the masses.

Dangote, Tinubu, OANDO, NNPLC: non of them is a saint.
At the end of the day, we know who's the commander in chief, the president where the buck stops. I will focus more on the presidency and not on a pampered businessman man who has never cared for anyone else but himself.

Nobody likes Dangote's attempt at monopoly in Nigeria.
However, your epistle is simply a one sided attack on his refinery.
What about the corrupt NNPC?
What about the subsidiary NNPC companies who actually benefit from this sad situation.
And, yes what about the minister for petroleum?
The one who is also the president?
Ask yourself, who is likely to benefit the most from this disaster?
The one refining oil in Nigeria, or the OANDO importing fuel into Nigeria.
Who owns OANDO?

I think PO caused this because he "lost" election.

Tinubu is a weapon fashioned against Nigeria. He's putting relevant people that are necessary to destroy Nigeria.

That's why terrorists are doing promo up and down.

Start with Buhari!
Everything started with Buhari, remember how he shouted GEJ corruption everyday while stealing the nation dry through his Fulani kinsmen.
Then, Buhari singled Igbos out for attack and destruction as a coverup for importing his Fulani tribesmen from Mali, Niger to take over Nigeria's farmland in the Benue river basin. Today, those Nigerians are in IDP camps while their communities have been renamed and colonized by Fulanis.
Do you now understand where and why Buhari was evil?
Unfortunately, the northerners did nothing to even criticize Buhari, now they're awake.

Hope you all realize that the more you talk about this Amaka nonsense, the less we focus on:
1. Hunger
2. Lack of fuel, or super increased cost.
3. Kidnapping
4. Fulani herdsmen invasion of Nigerian farmlands.
5. Lack of electricity
6. No good roads

So, who benefits from this diversion of attention?
Now, you can begin to see who is paying for the diversion. Thanks

Bola Ahmed Tinubu was recently invited by Chinese president on a state visit

Buhari government romanced the Chinese, took loans and awarded big contracts to their firms but Tinubu likely to take different route.

All Chinese firms are indirectly controlled by Chinese government. So the firm in question couldn't have acted alone.

A Chinese business man was arrested by the Nigerian police and rough handled .

Speaking as the official, uneducated, myopic public relation mogul for Tinubu; not surprised that you have to resort to conspiracy theory in order to deflect attention from Ogun state and Federal government screw up that led to this crises in the first place.

Nigerians love to throw shade without understanding the bigger picture. Tinubu is not Buhari; he’s a different player on the field.

While Buhari may have been surrounded by questionable allies, Tinubu knows how to play the game and gather support from his base. That’s politics!

People should stop looking for drama and start appreciating the strategies at play. Tinubu is a master at navigating the political landscape, and the so-called comparisons are just distractions from his actual achievements.

Let’s not forget, every leader has their style, and Tinubu is simply trying to ensure that the southern voice is heard loud and clear. So, instead of whining, let’s see how he turns the tide for the better. After all, he’s got a nation to run, not a gossip column to fill!

Tinubu has fully continued in the way of Buhari:
Reckless spending
Rubber stamp senate
Corrupt judiciary
Unchecked corruption and extravagant spending.
How about nepotism?

All the bad attributes of Buhari, minus his personality.

Continuing with Buhari's maladministration: He not only stole, and oversaw the damage to Nigeria's economy that the debt profile grew to the highest level ever.
Buhari didn't stop at stealing the current Nigerian treasure, he even borrowed into the future, ballooning the debt to 173%, almost as if he doesn't care for the nation's future. The result is that while the administration exhibited high overhead cost of governance, the debt jumped, the officials lived large while the masses suffered.
Now, Tinubu will be made to take responsibility for Buhari's mismanagement, and will be blamed by everyone, including former Buhari officials who contributed to the current problem.

Business / Re: Dangote: End Of The Road For A Monopolist? By Soji Adekunmbi by eagleu: 10:28pm On Jul 27
femicyrus:
The pre-election battle continues

Emefiele did everything to defeat tinubu at the polls while emefiele himself was not on the ballot

Dangote pulled his weight in support of another candidate different from tinubu

Emefiele pumped CBN resources into dangote refinery

Emefiele + dangote must have been supporting the same candidate that will protect the interest of both of them after election.

Backed by the cabal of some agendists, dangote is expected to continue his monopoly and favoritism from government if the X candidate of the agendists had won.

The Nigerian people are never in the plan. The status quo would have remained where the cabal will continue to remain rich while Nigerians remain poor.

Against all odds, tinubu won the election.

Emefiele is cooling off where he is now.

Dangote is next since tinubu's family is also into oil business too and it is time to shift monopoly to the other side.

Remember that Nigerians are still not in the picture till now.

The agendists are still counting their losses

Tinubu has no cabal, he is his own cabal who wants absolute resource control of the country away from the old cabal of agendists controlling the wealth of the nation for decades.

The pain of Nigerians has increased greatly due to the effects of this battle between two monopolists.

Nigerians want to protest

Dangote is also protesting for the very first time.

The agendists are fully in support of both protests not because they care about Nigerians

Tinubu is sharing rice to placate Nigerians grin

The battle continues...

Nice one, Oga.
But did you forget to include Peter Obi, Igbos, and IPOB in your speculations?
I don't don't disappoint Bayo Onanuga.

I don't have the facts about most of what you posted here and you certainly didn't have to make it tribal

However and whatever it is, Nigeria will triumph at the end of the day.

My brother, that's our prayer.
But why do you think only Yoruba so-called oil experts with PhD are the ones defending the government's action against Dangote?

Facts?
Easy to verify- who was governor when Dangote paid $100 to the governor of Lagos state? It better not be a man fro Irigbiji who's not a Lagos indigene by birth, and whose ancestral land wasn't likely encumbered by the sale.
Who's Nigeria's petroleum minister?
Who's family owns OANDO, and refining our crude in Malta?
Check out how much refined products Nigeria has started importing from Malta since last year!
Also, check out who now owns Agip after it failed to pay government levy? BTW, the levy has been cleared after Tinubu's company took it over.
With all these pointers, even a blind man can see that acquiring a "failing" Dangote refinery in Lagos is the ultimate goal of this 'petroleum minister '

I hope honest and upright Yorubas can see beyond all this, because more facts are going to come out. Tribe has nothing to do with it: money!
