I will attach the match highlights via YouTube and you will see clearly that Awaziem knowing he would be finished for pace. Kept backing off the Cameroon Attacker and then didn't block off the cross which went into our 18 unrestricted and Cameroon scored.

So explain how Aina was at fault for the goal.

In that match Awaziem was struggling against the much faster Cameroon attackers. He easily could have been sent off.

If there is a statistic for most fouls conceded by a player in the SE, l am sure Awaziem will be among the contenders.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQX8t3UrdqI

You biasly neglected the goal Aina was at fault and kept focusing on the Cameroonian first goal

Was Awaziem dribbled for that goal? No

Was he outpaced for that goal? No

Continue living in delusion

He doesn't (really) like Onuachu. He doesn't even know Onuachu well. He has possibly never even bothered to watch Onuachu's games. So how can he genuinely like Onuachu all of a sudden? Lol...

He only likes the idea of Onuachu playing instead of Osimhen.

His fake likeness for Onuachu is a case of supporting player B to be picked over player A because he doesn't like that player A.

Believe me if Tammy Abraham to GWG talks resurfaces, you would see him switch sides again to begin saying he prefers Tammy to Onuachu and give you reasons why Tammy is a better fit than a taller Onuachu.. lol... The guy is so bloody predictable and it makes him an eyesore to read every damn time.

So Komekn would rather have another player picked instead of Nacho, Osimhen, Omeruo and co... That is how his silly bias works. And he does it that way not caring if it is for the best of our Super Eagles.
Imagine talking up Aina as our best defender because of interceptions stats when Omeruo was by dar our finest defender at the Afcon. And we all know why he talks up Aina so much. He belongs to the English-born Naija players.

Aina is good and I love him but with Komekn here, some of you will be made to hate/dislike/hardly rate Aina because of how Komekn will communicate always in favor of the English-born Naija players.

Komekn has a very dangerously divisive bias coupled with his irritating limited knowledge of football outside England. And someone so bloody limited should not be taken seriously.

I don’t think he watches football outside England

It seems like u have made up ur mind to judge Awazeim's performance at the AFCON using that Algeria game alone cus u keep talking about it anytime his name pop up here..
Na so u dislike am reach? .Awazeim wasn't at fault for any goal we conceded at the AFCON though he had a hard time against Cameroon and South Africa. .he was solid for a player who was playing at RB for just the second time in his career... Don't forget his cross he gave against Cameroon from which your MCM scored ..
He was probably our best player at the tournament after Etebo, Omeruo and Ndidi ..

Yea Awaziem was in the way of his 'Borough' boy Aina

Chai Aghalo is good at penalties abeg... I don't think he's ever missed one in GWG... ANd most of his penalty kicks send the goalkeeper the wrong way.

His ice cold confidence in taking penalties is outstanding

I think you are being delusional go and watch the Algeria game and see how many times he was left for dead by the Algerians he was nearly yellow carded in the first 10 minutes and the referee gave him a verbal warning.

Awaziem was the weakest link IMO.

Aina was at fault for one of the goals scored by Cameroon hope you remember that

Awaziem played well this Afcon maybe your biased mind is closed to that fact

In my opinion our defenders were very poor particularly our CB.

Ekong clearing ball anywhere and anyhow like Police or is it Balogun that was making primary school boy errors Or Omeruo who was misting headers and getting bullied like a youth player.

So tell me what statistic did our CB's excelled in comparison to other CB's in this AFCON , that's the pertinent unit of measurement.

What's remarkable is that Aina could have such impressive stats consider he was dropped for two games. It means the possibility exists that his could have been much better and on multiple fronts that makes head and heals above all our current defenders in this AFCON.

Awaziem has also the credit of not been dribbled through throughout the tournament, Omeruo has several man of the match performances under his belt

Ekong underwhelmed but that does not mean that our whole defence was trash
