You don't just assume things out! You should have given him fair hearing first. If he didn't pick your calls, there is nothing bad in going there to hear him out first even if you are so sure he pits charm on the clothes. Wisdom is needed in this kind of case handling, unfortunately you didn't use it well to ascertain the matter and hold on concrete evidences.

What of if you presented good case in bad manner to him, how do we know that for fair judgement? You should have kept the clothes, buy one more or same new material he rejected without showing it to your child first, present new unsowed cloth (same material) or present sowed and unsowed to pick what he likes to wear. Later get it sow again and bring it to your son again to see if he will reject again. Rejection maybe on his choice of color or engraved image on the cloth he dislikes on the clothes. Your decision is too hasty, with patience; you could have unraven the truth better.

Your manner of approach and harsh presentation maybe the reason your tailor avoid picking your calls or call back or may base on any other reasons. However, whatever reason; you could have heard from him directly even if it warrants going to his shop to hear his side. You seem to be too hot temper and presented good case in bad way to him to rubbish his work.

Your tests are not too enough to hold the tailor responsible, apologize to him and even give him something because you bleeped up the whole thing; your reasons were too watery and you made hasty decision without concrete evidences. He may not even know how to present to you based on how you made him suspicious he charmed the cloths and his level of education or (lack of conflict solving skills on that matter of the moment between you)

I had a funny experience with my former tailor last year. I got some Ankara materials to be sewn for my son; about five materials and one for myself. After my tailor was done, he called that I should come for the clothes.

To my surprise, the boy refused to wear the clothes. I felt he was not in a good mood the first day so after some days, we brought out the clothes for him to wear any as they were nice. The boy started screaming on sighting the clothes. It was unlike him. A boy of three. He would embrace any new clothes bought for him and anticipate joyfully the day he's going to wear them. The case was different this time around.

We kept the clothes for weeks and after bringing them out again, he'd start running away. It clearly dawned on me that something was definitely wrong. Where could the problem come from? I started asking. Could it be from the material or the tailor himself?

I gave the tailor a call and explained to him that my son joyfully received the previous clothes he sewed for him but he wouldn't accept the last one. He ended the call immediately. I dialled again and the number was switched off. If the phone had gone off inadvertently at least he'd have called back after charging; he didn't. I called back next day he didn't pick. I called with another number and he picked, unknown to him it was I who called. I didn't bother to speak further. It was clear he wasn't innocent.

I didn't believe in stuff like that until I experienced it. I wore one the clothes he sewed to test if it was nice before getting home. I never wore it to any occasion though; just for testing. After the discovery and experience, I burnt all the clothes. This guy is good when it comes to sewing. I wonder why he'd engage in fetish things.

Beware of all these tailors out there. A good number of them are diabolical.
