Politics / South East Peoples Assembly (SEPA) Reacts To Call To Re-arrested IPOB Leader. by EasternWind: 10:12pm On Jun 02, 2017
PRESS RELEASE

South East Peoples Assembly (SEPA) Disassociates Group from Call for Re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu

The attention of the leadership of the prestigious South-East Peoples Assembly (SEPA) has been drawn to a purported letter allegedly written by a certain faceless Prince Chukwuemeka Okorie urging the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Binta Nyako to revoke the bail given to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The faceless signatory to the said letter claimed he was the President of SEPA and wrote on that capacity.
While SEPA by this release denies any knowledge of this impostor by his or her featureless name as its President, we wish to reiterate that SEPA as a responsible South East non-political organization is not known for betraying and destroying our people.
SEPA as a representative of Ndigbo in the five South East states believes in the native Igbo traditional ways of disciplining erring people, and we have never explored these channels well known to all in any way if Kanu had gone wrong.
SEPA has never invited, queried or cautioned Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in any way he had gone contrary to his bail conditions as no such report has been formally presented to us.
SEPA as a legal and responsible organization believes that peoples’ freedom of existence as enshrined in the various chatters of the United Nation should never be suppressed for any reason.
In the meantime, we have critically looked at the activities of IPOB as championed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu over the years, and we have not seen any way he has gone contrary to legally laid down rules set out by the United Nations for the self-actualization or determination of any Indigenous people.
SEPA also believes that where people of the South East are treated with equality and equity in the scheme of things in the country, Nnamdi Kanu and his group wouldn’t have been in existence.
For someone to use the prestigious name of our organization to ridicule the collective quest of our people is unacceptable, dangerous and against the onye aghala nwanne ya philosophy of ndigbo.
For purposes of clarity, the Federal High Court Abuja has its tools and mechanism of monitoring its pronouncements on suspects. We at SEPA believe that the court is in a better position to track Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s activities after it released him on bail. Where he is found wanting the law should take its course.
SEPA condemns the said Prince Chukwuemeka Okorie for being a threat to the revered image of our organization and therefore calls on the general public to disregard and ignore him as we do not know him in SEPA.
SEPA will continue to uphold and promote love, peace and unity among people of the South-East.

Signed: Greg Nwadike
Director – Research and Publicity/Editor, SEPA Journal

He borrowed argument from the great IPOB leaders Mazi Nnamdi Kanu "In Biafra none would be allowed to use generator, it would be meant for emergency places only, if there's no light no politician not even government houses should generate their own power cos by so doing all hands would be on desk to work out steady power supply "

All of a sudden u remember that there's freedom of expression, gathering etc but while u were sending soldiers to kill armless civilians u never knew they have all this right. Abi

Nnamdi Kanu has made u criminals irrelevant

IPOB is now in control. U idiots of governors at present only controls the SLAVE CAMP GUARDS---- The weak army & the disastrous police.

Ur colleagues at the house assembly are only there for their stomachs & kids

U failed leaders. Wicked & heartless that allows ur personal interest to prevail at detriments of the led.

Disaster shall befall u all if u refuse to stand up and defend the people who voted u in and speak their minds and not urs.

It's clear they all want Biafra. Why not make it ur priority to give it to them?

Sit at home is not enough. We all should be ready to boycott every damn election to teach those animals sense, starting with Anambra guber election.

I dey tell u oh! I still dey wonder how dat one go stop hardworking Nigerians from going about their normal businesses.
U're very correct
It won't stop hardworking Nigerians from looming the streets with plates in their hands begging for food.
It won't stop the handout region from assemble and collection of their peanuts form their coward leaders.
It won't stop Agbero form harassing and stripping motorist off their hard earned money
It won't stop OMO NILE from criminally invading a building site of a hardworking man whose offense was only to live in a more decent abode in life.

Yes our sit at home won't stop them

Could it be that a taste of Nigeria animality which saw him locked up fews months back re-setted his medullar oblongata.

The funny thing here is that all this sadist on niraland don't even care to read meanings or even appreciate anyone who writes in support of #Biafra. More troublesome is the fact they don't use their heads cos if they do they would have given up long before now.

Can't they see that event on daily basis proves we're no longer interested in their #Nigeria?

I haven't seen where mocking is used to convince anyone to buy another's idea or dream.

Grow up O' yee one Nigerianist

HungerBAD:
He is not only a fraudster.

But he is now into the Acting business. This criminal has not cried for the millions lost during the Biafran war.

Neither did he cry for the hundreds,if not thousands killed during the fight between Aguleri and Umuleri.

He has so far not cried for the hundreds of Easterners, getting killed for drug related matters around the world.

Neither has he cried for the souls of Easterners getting kidnapped and killed, by fellow Easterners like the US Army Veteran that came home.

This fraud does not know what it means to lose a loved one,or has he lost any direct member of his family?and that is why he wants to lead gullible people to their deaths.

To practice his acting skills,he took some Camera men to Nkpor bridge to start crying his fake tears. This guy is a fraudster and a showman.

Chai! The thing too pain u. I will advice u be more careful while crossing roads lest u ran into a moving vehicle out frustration.

Take heart.
