Despite the new initiative whereby PCMs are given the opportunity to choose their preferred states for deployment, a lot of people would still be disappointed by the eventual posting, going by the objectives of the NYSC. All states are meant to have a fair share of Corps Members and most state would definitely not be chosen by PCM for one or more of the following reasons; Poor or non-existent State Aloowance Insecurity Poor Economic Opportunities etc. So how do you intend to cushion the effect of an eventual unfavourable posting? Note that relocation for corp members remains primarily on health and marital grounds (for ladies only) others are based on how highly connected you are or how much you are willing to part with to NYSC officials.
