You are wrong brother. Nigeria has potentials. But it is unfortunate we have not been able to realise and harness those potentials. To a greater extent, we are better endowed than China, or Saudi Arabia and some other emerging economies. Ask me what is wrong, why are we not at least at par with these advanced countries. Simple. Leadership!. Leadership has let everyone of us down. What has government done about millions and billions of dollars siphoned out of the country, what has government done to improve human capital, in fact we are trying in our educational sector with the little we have had, what has government done to generate revenue from other sources other than oil. When you ask these questions, you begin to get answers. Let's take count of the amount of natural resources Nigeria is endowed with. Logically, we should be better than Saudi, UAE, and competing with the likes of US, Canada and so on. We should be "giant of africa" in the real sense of it. We have resources. A lot of it. We have got the fighting spirit but corruption, and nepotism has brought us on our knees.
So what should we do? Should we kill all those leaders because obviously they can't change? We talk but never act, we need to take actions. Let's all stand up for our nation, we can't accomplish anything by complaining.
We must force them to resign or fix our nation, we must start now. What is the use of a fighting spirit if all you do is fight for just yourself?
Nigeria is still a slave nation, we are yet to fight for our freedom, green white green was a fraud. Those white monsters still rule from underneath. Fucking wake up!!!

SportsRe: Sadio Mane's Phone With Cracked Screen Shocks Fans (Photos) by ebennich(m): 11:04am On Dec 29, 2019
ackim:
Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane was pictured with a phone that has a cracked screen.

Many fans have questioned why Mane who is among the top earners at Liverpool is using that type of phone.

Well, others have argued that he's a humble footballer who prefers to spend his money on his philanthropic works rather than luxury lifestyle.

Speaking with nsemwoha.com, Sadio Mane opened up on why he prefers to spend a big part of his earnings on charity in his homeland.

"Why would I want ten Ferraris, twenty diamond watches, or two planes? What will these objects do for me and for the world?

"I was hungry, and I had to work in the field; I survived hard times, played football barefooted, I did not have an education and many other things, but today with what I win thanks to football, I can help my people.

Stunning both on and off the pitch:

"I built schools, a stadium, we provide clothes, shoes, food for people who are in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people in a very poor region of Senegal which contributes to their family economy.

"I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips and even planes. I prefer that my people receive a little of what life has given me."

Nobody's more down-to-earth than Sadio. A top player always stays humble and remembers his roots.

Nairaland GeneralRe: What Did 2019 Teach You? by ebennich(m): 8:24pm On Dec 26, 2019
I learnt that with a positive attitude and a focused mind, you can achieve anything.

For all of us with goals for 2020, write it down in a journal and below the goal write down your plans to make it possible in headlines, the universe will dort out the details. Then 1). Ask the universe to help you make your goals work in prayer(or whatever thing you do). 2). Be grateful to the universe that you already have all that you asked for. 3). Go into 2020 focused on those goals, do your best(I mean your best) and watch the universe do the rest.

Hard work pays, even more when focused on a particular goal...
RomanceRe: I Easily Lose Interest In Guys, Will I Regret This? by ebennich(m): 1:47pm On Dec 26, 2019
Michellekabod2:
I am not going to create another moniker for this,i owe no one nothing!

I have spent most of my life single. I tried linking up with people but to no avail. Why? I will not do the blame game here. Is all my fault. I meet someone, get heed over heels for the person but I lose interest easily. When it comes to commitment, when the friendship is to get to the next level I ghost them. I don't know why. At best out of the blue I lose interest and become blank, not returning calls or replying messages, at worst I become disgusted at the fellow for no reason at all then move one to the next male friend. Nothing serious comes out of it...

So I decided to give up trying. My female friends and I go on an outing, some guys approach us and get our numbers. Months (sometimes years) later they are still waxing strong with the males, one of them even got married to one of them. But me? After a couple of weeks I find myself having to ghost the guy that I was head over heels for.

I gave up on love and chose to be single. I have been single for years now.

I met this guy march this year,we bonded like never before. I have never in my entire life felt like this before. It is so strange that each conversation we have all seems anew like we are starting all over.

It's almost ten months and the fire is still intense.
I have never had such a long friendship with a male. People assume we are dating. He gives me so much JOY... He is so awesome, different from all the others i have known. He changed me.

I just figured out i want to end the friendship, I don't know why. I am tired. I want to walk away. The passion is still there but i want to be away. I wanted to get a new SIM but my conscience will not. What has kept me from doing this is because i wonder how he will feel..

I want to walk away. Will i regret this?
Its your ego... Master it!
You are afraid once you and a guy become intimate, he won't like you anymore so you end the friendship before it goes that far. You do it with so much confidence that you think its the right thing, but its just your ego bossing you around.
No one can teach you how to tame your ego, you must learn your own way; but here is my little advice, don't be afraid to be vulnerable, because we all are. Even the toughest, baddest, smartest, maddest motherfuckers are vulnerable bitches!

You don't need to double any hustle or hustle harder like u said, all you need is to pray for God's grace and favor to remember you and believe me, that little effort you had been putting in will generate big result that will get people shocked.

Some people worked so hard, did everything and at the end nothing to show for their hardwork, smartness and even big education qualifications. While some put in little or no effort and God or grace found them and they are flying so high.

Success in life is not for the swift or the wise or for the most intelligent or for the most hardworking or the most educated, it is of God that showeth mercy.

God can turn that irrelevant job or business to a talk of the town. When God remembers you, He will change things, turn situations around, change global and national indices and even people's taste and demands to ensure they favor whatever you do and you will be like you are dreaming.

When the Lord, turned again, the captivity of Zion, they were like they that dream! wink

So as you step into the New Year, go down on your kneels, repent of your sins and cry to God to please remember you like He remembered Jabez. Declare a 3 day dry fasting and then break it with a seed offering to God through orphanage home or the poor or beggars or any Godly Church, and then make a pledge to God that if He does this and this for you in 2020, you will do this and this for Him in return.

Try this and see the wonders of God.

Challenge God and see if God is real or not.

Merry Christmas Nigerians
Bros, all these things you are saying sef is hardwork... Leave us alone abeg!
