Another Problem Again: Ex-militants Hijack Ship, demand Kanu’s release; Promises to Surprise FG soon

– Militants hijack foreign vessel and kidnap its foreign crew.

– Kidnappers demand release of Nnamdi Kanu within 31 days.

– Threaten to kill hostages in 31 days, despite previous demand, if federal government acts too slowly.

A group of supposedly former militants has hijacked a ship off the Bakassi Peninsula coastline and threatened to blow it up along with its foreign crew if the detained Director of Radio Biafra and Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu is not released.

The group of hijackers has given the federal government a 31-day ultimatum to release Kanu or deal with a destroyed ship and murdered crew.

A group of suspected cultists have been apprehended by the police in Ebonyi State. The state Commissioner of Police, CP Peace Abdallah, made this disclosure on Wednesday while parading the suspects.

For allegedly having anal cex inside a jeep, two men were on Tuesday docked at an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.

The accused – Innocent Egbuna, 33, and Jide Ajayi, 21 – are being tried for a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy and act of gross indecency. The prosecutor, Sgt. Joseph Ajebe, told the court that the offenses were committed on Jan. 18 at Ajao Road, Ikeja.

Here in Nigeria we choose to live in self denial. BREAKING NEWS!! Lassa Fever Kills Doctor In Port-Harcourt (You Must Read And Careful)

Panic and fear of the unknown today gripped doctors, nurses, medical personnel and patients of the Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital, old GRA, Port Harcourt over the death of a doctor in the Emergency Unit of the hospital suspected to have contacted the dreaded Lassa Fever disease virus.

The practitioners are mostly scared because they are by routine of duty, the first to come in contact with patients on emergency in hospital and may have all contacted the highly contagious viral disease.

Dr Furo Green, chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association, Rivers state branch confirmed the death of doctor identified as Dr Levi Njamala.

What Is This? Wike Drops Charges Against 3 Armed Bad Guys Who Killed Police & Many Others

On November 19th 2015 three [3] members of a notorious armed robbery gang operating in Port Harcourt Metropolis with formidable weaponry headed by one George, a native of Rumukunde Community in Emohua LGA of Rivers State were arrested by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad [SARS] of the Rivers State Police Command.

The suspects, Charles Emesiobi Nwaoepi, Goodnews Kejeh, Goodluck Wogbo, who subsequently made confessional statements, were arrested and several arms and ammunition found on them including one AK-47 No. 2770 belonging to the Nigeria Police, one AK-49 Rifle with butt No. 44150 belonging to the Nigerian Army and one K2 Rifle with No. 046484 belonging to the Nigeria Police with 44 rounds of 7.62mm and 55 rounds of 5.56mm live ammunition.

Investigations by the Nigeria Police reportedly revealed that the suspects killed officers of the Police and Nigerian Army before carting away their arms in various operations in the past. For example...

It was discovered that on 14/10/2015 the notorious gang allegedly robbed Diamond Bank, Port Harcourt among other daredevil operations across the State.

According to their investigations, the Police stated that other criminal activities carried out by the gang were the murder in cold blood of several police and military personnel including one Lance Corporal Yohanna Kamuji and Corporal Bello Lazarus both attached to 20 Battalion of the Nigeria Army, Bori Camp, Port Harcourt. Army eye witnesses confirmed the suspects to be behind the killing of their deceased colleagues.

The APC is shocked that right from the day the suspects were arrested and two of them charged to court there had been intense pressure by officials of the Rivers State Government to have them released as the suspects are alleged to be the boys of a serving Government House Chief of Staff.

With the Wike government on its way out, the governor’s Attorney-General through the Director of Public Prosecution [DPP] has finally advised against further prosecution of the dangerous criminals who were responsible for the killing of many innocent citizens including members of the Nigeria Police and Nigerian Army. This is contained in a legal advice by the Director of Public Prosecution [DPP] advising that the charges against the 3 gang members be dropped while their case files have been returned to the Police.
