market my foot....sellin drugs....??

They sell drugs, what's the business between drug and Seaports, I said they will be their own country, if an Igbo carry drug in our borders how is it our headache atrest such person and hand him over appropriate authority, it is their country image that is at stake not Ijaw image so leave the drug issues out, they are the biggest importers which our Seaports are going to benefit immensely from, honestly you dont seem to understand statehood, Lots of them have committed different class of crimes in America and Europe has it made America to underestimate them, okay recently we saw Iweala become a global icon, so let's forget these petty issues and work with whomever we have to work with, apart from the online fights i I don't see where we and Igbos have much issues

Your weak mental capacity is pathetic, I do not understand your obsession and fixation on igbos...igbo this, igbo that...I am sick of seeing these rubbish.
Mr. I'm talking about the future of the Ijaw nation, respect starts with giving people their due, I had closely studied Igbo trends for sometimes, they don't follow the waters, they follow business and commerce if you think Igbos will come begging us it a joke, Akwaibomites also don't follow waters the follow trades, we Ijaws follow waters. Understand peoples cultural values this does not make us weak, it makes us ahead

Well articulated Bruv! However, these are your assumptions, and not clearly facts. I can't speak much about the Akwa-Ibomites, but the Cross-riverines I've come in contact with, always share the same view with me regarding the Niger Delta. It's quiet treacherous for me say more than I know.
I've always been proud of the development strides of Akwa-Ibom as a Niger Deltan. I fancy living with them. My IYC brothers in Akwa-Ibom shares similar thoughts. Like, I've stated ealier, The 'Niger Delta' is our collective struggle with due reverence to every ethic group therein. We may have our differences as region. But our spirit of togetherness is what makes us (the Niger Delta) formidable. The stakeholders are conscious of that fact. As for the Akwa-Ibomites, I'll always love and respect them, either together as neighbours or separetely as neighbours.
Bro, we should know in truth that Igbos are the real bride Niger Delta will fight to be the allie of ndigbo, Igbos don't need the entire Akwa/Cross they need either Akwaibom or Cross River, Igbos only need time from my presumption, they can also be lobbied by the Ogoni, Igbos need at least 10 years to dredge the two of their Rivers that offers them access to the sea then what about Ogonis, Igbos will have four option, in the first 10 years, Ogoni, Akwaibom, Cross River or us and if any of the other three wins Igbos our sea economy will collapse, let's think business and economy, these people won't share in this fantasy when reality downs on us, it is better to be friend and allies with Igbos than any other Niger tribe, prosperity standpoint,

The Niger Delta -thing. Is not one ethnic group affair. Ask the stakeholders in the region to know better. Between, no matter how much you claim to be an Ijaw I still doubt your credibility. But we're going to leave that for another day. I've lived in at least 3 states of the Niger Delta, and associate with different ethnic groups within the Sout-South, and I made bold to assert that the Niger Delta thing, is not a one ethic group affair. Although, the Ijaws have been in the forefront of the whole struggle, but they did so with the consciousness of other ethnic groups. The Niger Delta, is bigger than one ethnic group!
This calls for sharing of opinions, I know that Niger Delta is a multiethnic agenda but you can bear me witness that why we Ijaws are closer to the Benin, Isokko and Ogonis, Efik and Ibio are culturally and in many ways close to Igbos, there are more Akwaibomite in Aba than there is in in the whole of Bayelsa.

Ikwaibomites have more regards for Igbos than they have for us, a country is not run on emotions, Philip Efiong was the vice president of Biafra and Later president and Niger Delta will not give Akwa/Cross special status, every bargaining chip Akwa/Cross have Ijaw has it, oil and access to the sea.

Akwa/Cross will get better treatment working with Igbos, people prefer where they are needed and appreciated, Akwa/Cross emotions aside knows they will be more appreciated with Igbos it will be a mutually beneficial relationship, and Igbos don't seem to interfere with states where they don't seem threatened.

NIGER DELTA REPUBLIC IS DIFFERNT FROM BIAFRA

grin Most people saying it will be small ae cool cool cool jokers

every city or town will choose niger delta over biafra

excluding oil, unlimited access to the ocean
Don't be too fast, if the Efik and Ibibio have both oil and sea why would they chose Niger Delta instead of choosing the Igbos that will bring traffic and wealth to their region, would Efik need ijaw oil or need Ijaws access to the sea or you think access to the sea alone is enough, lol, they will chose Igbos, Onitsha and Aba alone is enough market, which market is in the Niger delta, don't you see that your sea traffic will mostly be from Igbos, I know with what I had told you Akwa/Cross will prefer Igbos so their seaports gets them real wealth, if we all abandon Igbos, as a country they will just dredge of of their rivers so let's not be too fast in thinking everyone would want Niger Delta, if I'm Akwa/Cross I will also go with Igbos, do you know the level of traffic Igbos will bring to these seaports lol, any economy that exclude Igbos is making a terrible mistake that's why Akwa/Cross always work with them and we can see it, apart from Rivers and PH, which is also shared with the Igbos, which other Niger Delta state can be compared to Akwaibom in terms of development

Yeah me too I don't want Niger Delta republic either, we are all big enough to be independent nations
I like the Igbos as a tribe, I prefer them to the other major tribes, the Igbos say things as they feel it, if they say they are with you, they mean it, if they are going to back out, they let you know, honestly I know Igbo Ijaw rivalry had been long even before Nigeria but then at this point we have to respect each other in sincerity.

We Ijaws need to take some steps in self determination and be wise in choice of allies, Igbos are free thinkers, it is better for Ijaws to work with them, not as Niger Delta but as Ijaw people.

I don't see anyone hating on ibos, saying you want to be left alone and not added to Biafra is not a sign of hate
I'm not talking about Biafra, I don't want to be part of Biafra, but I want Igbos as friends and Allies of the Ijaw Nation, I would have loved Niger Delta Republic but if you exclude Igbos from Niger Delta then the map is crazy, Akwa/Cross is closer to the Igbos than they can ever be to the rest of the Niger Delta, that's my concern, If Akwa/Cross is in Niger Delta Republic, Igbo influences in the republic will be massive, they have same agenda with Igbos.

What's your point undecided
My point is that Niger Delta may not be realistic as I think most people like Efik, Ibibio, Benin may prefer to stay on their own and from the look of things if Efik and Ibibio fail to be their own country they are most likely to join the Igbos in Biafra, that reduces Niger Delta to an Ijaw and some smaller tribes like Isokko and Ogoni republic that's if Ogonis would not want to be alone, hating on the Igbos is not going to bring Niger Delta, from the look of things Igbos are not our problem

Why every remainder rejecting ibos? It 's because the ibos are tribalistics to the core or perhaps , they are not nationalistic people.
We will face the same reality Igbos are facing if we even succeed in getting Niger Delta we will only become another Igbo, to others and of a truth I think Efik and Ibibio prefer Igbos to Ijaws, they both control Akwa/Cross states, so how do we think if we don't look into ourselves as Ijaws that Niger Delta will work

Calabar, the New London!
Uyo the New Carlifonia!
Port-Harcourt, the New Berlin!
Yenagoa, the New Geneva!
I'm Ijaw and I only think of Ijaw territories, PH, is still a shared city and would we drive the Igbos in PH off, does it look like Calabar and Uyo can really stay with us in reality, I don't know for Benin but with Igbos gone, Niger Delta may not exist, let's think about ourselves as Ijaw people we have enough for ourselves.

From the looks of things, we Ijaws had been the first tribe to officially reject Nigeria, I think amongst the three major tribes, the Igbos had been fair enough.

Igbos Eastern Region Cited the Refinery in PH, a city that would have served all most tribes of Niger Delta, Igbos had been in the forefront of Nigeria independence, so it could have been fair that Capital of Eastern region be in Enugu or Igboland, all the three major tribes had their regions capital in their major cities so why do we expect that the capital of the East will not be in Igboland...

Most people think it is the destiny of the Ijaws to see the Igbos as rivals, well I may not see them as brothers but they are our good neighbours, if Igbos wanted they could have used our oil as bargaining chip during the war but they did not go that part, from the look of things, Igbos listen more than the three major tribes, within the whole declaration, Adakar borrow lived when Igbos was in charge but few moments of romance with non eastern tribes and he disappeared, even our oil wells are not hijacked by the Igbos.

The Bayelsa where I live, there are more Igbos in Lagos than in Bayelsa, so let's bare our mind, what is our beef with the Igbos, if Nigeria divides, Biafra will also divide and Niger Delta will most likely also divide so at the end we will be left with our old neighbours the Igbos as tribal neighbours so what's our real beef with the Igbos.
