Good morning everyone. Chai! I have missed nairaland. My baby came with crying anointing to the point that Momcy called a pastor to pray for her because the cry odikwa plenty much . Bikonu my people, my baby does this groaning and grunting thing like someone that wants to pass out hard shit (sorry ). She does it all the time and it scares all of us. As she is doing it, she maybe releasing series of atomic farts. This groaning thing does not allow her sleep well at night. She only gets some relief when i lay her on my chest but then that means no sleep for her. Everyone that we have told about it says it's her tummy and that it will resolve with time but in the meantime, what can I do to relieve her? I feel the grunting and groaning means she is in pain. Are there agbo/home remedies that can help? I regularly give her gripe water but I don't feel its doing anything for her. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Thanks. Her father insists I boil bottled water. I just wanted to know if that's a thing. Thanks to everyone else that replied me my baby had to take formula (NAN1) for a few weeks cuz breastmilk supply was poor, she started rejecting formula as soon as I started breastfeeding well. Many babies do this, I don't think it's because of the kind of family. If you milk supply has improved and you can do it, maybe you should switch to exclusive breastfeeding, if not don't let her defeat you, give someone else to feed her too.

These are signs of teething and ur baby is not too young to teeth. my sons first two teeth came out when he was 15weeks old so don't understand what that ur Dr is saying. He had all these signs except stooling. No need to panic and don't give any drug. She will get her appetite back.

Mama don't be sad abeg, feeling light does not always mean weight loss. A scale is the only way to prove weight loss. She might not have lost as much as you think. As per teething 15wks is not too early my boy started at 12 weeks and was doing all you listed even his gums were swollen but teething ordinarily should not cause purging. Just try and increase how often you wash her hands and anybody carrying her too must wash their hands more. The stooling may be from touching things and then putting in her mouth. This may be the time to buy a teething ring as well since it appears she wants something to chew on.

thanks sis. have also increased my personal hygiene and notified the nanny that takes care of her when i go to office. she is always trying to deep her whole. finger deep in her throat too. she is feeding very well too

now my problem is I bought the economy park and it's still very plenty, please maamas that have experienced this what did you do with the diapers? I really am at a loss on what to do and recover cash to get him his size?
Number 2, my son's left thigh is swollen after his 10weeks immunization yesterday, aside applying ice, please can I use hot water to press it? he struggled with the nurse when it was been administered so am scared it went wrong.

I'm back again, I'm 8weeks now, I've been on bedrest in my hospital for 4days now, I have 4 days to go. I had a scary experience on Thurs, I was asleep only to be woken up by terrible pain in my lower tummy which lasted for about 15mins, it's an episode I don't wish my enemy,
I used pcm and went to pee only for me to see blood and small clot when I wiped. I went back to bed and hubby and I prayed and laid hands on my tummy. I also used the opportunity to join Nathaniel bassey live on instagram. I saw my doc on Friday and he asked that I do a tvs scan, I saw my baby alive and beating. Only God can do that. Bleeding and pain has stopped totally, I'm also team Feb 2018
I've been on bedrest since then, daily progestorene shot for 1week then I switch to cyclogest till I have cerclage done at 13 or 14weeks.
Doc says zero stressful activities, no bedmatics till further notice , so it's been sleeping, eating, browsing. I'm also on folic acid and metformin.
I know I shall carry to term because that is God's will for me.
I've keyed into Malachi 3:11.

terribly scared of 10 and 14 weeks immunization. God will see us true. Lo is calmer this morning. Tepid sponging and pcm syrup really helped a lot.

Same here o. We did 6 weeks immunization yesterday. Thank God I gave paracetamol before going. The fever was tolerable not as bad as that he had for his circumcision. I just cleaned him up with warm water that yesterday. I'm also afraid of the 10 weeks own. But God will see us through
