Hello Ladies. Hope we are all doing well. Well, today I had my last scan before trigger today. My doctor is pleased with how I am responding. So, I will trigger tomorrow evening for collection on Monday. They said they will tell me number of follicles later but from the screen I was able to count up to 12. I guess it could be more. Praying that they are of good quality. I will trigger with HCG. Please is it taken on the stomach or buttocks. My buttocks is finished ooo. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mummy3plets: Hi dear. How are you doing? How did you feel after EC and days after? |
Health / Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by ebonynelly: 2:18pm On Nov 29, 2018 |
Mummy3plets: Good that 3 are of good quality. Praying that they all make it to day 5. Yes, your doctor's advice is good, since the cost is the same for any number of embryos. Have you decided on when to do another stimulation? Thanks for your good wishes. |

Glad that there is no much side effects. Good that your scan went well. I guess the follicles will be measured on my next scan since it is going to be my last scan before trigger which is tomorrow. When is your next scan? |

titas: Yes o. Nearing the end. I am on day 8 of stimms. I will stim for 10days, so I have 2 days left which is on Friday. I also had my day 6 scan on Monday. We are very close, just 2 days apart. Wishing you the best in your scan today. Keep us posted. How are you feeling generally with regards to side effects of stimulation? I have been having sore breast since yesterday and watery/sticky discharge since 2 days ago and tiredness. Also, lower abdominal ache. |

Well, the scan was very brief. The doctor didn't bother counting, but from the look of things, she was satisfied with what she saw. She said I should continue with same dosage. My next and final scan before trigger is on Friday. Can't believe I am almost done. 1 Like 1 Share |

Good days Mamas. Hope we are all doing well. Well, today is my day 6 of stimming but before taking the injections I will have my first scan to see how I am responding. I really pray I am responding as expected as I don't really have much of side effects even though I know that everyone is different. Put me in your prayers.. 1 Like |

Mummy3plets: Oh, sorry about the side effects. What side effects did u have? Of course I don't feel exactly like my usual self but nothing too serious. Is it because I down regulated before stimms? It is the Coq10 that gives me upset stomach for a while after taking it. All the best in scan today. 1 Like |

Hi Mamas. Today is day 2 of stims. Today's injection was less painful than that of yesterday. I guess the injection pain partly depends on who is giving the injection. A different nurse from yesterday gave me today's injection. Not much of any symptoms so far. Thank God. 1 Like |

Mummy3plets: Oh... It shouldn't be up to the amount you paid earlier, cos it is only stimulation and collection you will do the second time around to get more eggs to add to this one and then continue with the initial screening and transfer you have paid for. OR did the doctor say you have to pay same amount? Let us know the outcome of the scan tomorrow. All the best. |

Mummy3plets: Good that one popped up. Still believing that more will pop up within the next 4 days which is an ample time. Oh dear, I understand not being able to afford a repeat stimulation to get more eggs. Times are really hard. But if you are at a risk of getting SS, you would really need to screen the embryos before transfer to avoid it. And you would stand a better chance with more eggs. Just think about it carefully. Praying for a better result in your next scan. When is your next scan? |

Good Evening Mamas. Well, I started stims today being day 3 of my cycle (after scan confirming there is no cyst) with Menogon and buserelin (which I have been taking for down regulation for the past 9 days). This menogon is quite painful o. The injection spot is still paining me even after hours and after hot water massage. I feel it only when I touch it. Pls any tips on how to manage this pain cos this is just the first shot o. God help us. Scan scheduled for Monday, 26th. Grow follicles grow!!! Pls does anyone know about Vitamin D being good for implantation? 1 Like |

Mummy3plets: I was given two injections as well. Buserelin(0.5ml) and Menogon (300iu). Scan in the next 5 days, 26th. Am on a slightly long protocol. I started down regulation with buserelin 9 days ago and started stims today being day 3 of my cycle, apparently I am continuing with it till further notice. How did your scan go? |
Health / Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by ebonynelly: 10:29am On Nov 21, 2018 |
Rbae: Just like the previous reply, progesterone is what is needed mostly at this point. Fruits, vegetables. I read that vitamin D is very good for implantation. Other things; pineapple core from now till 3-4 days, keeping warm and less stress but not strictly bed rest. |

Mummy3plets: I don't have 5th day scan report yet, I will be starting stims today. Have you stimmed before? How did you respond previously? Well, from my research, I have come to realise that some people are slow responders. What that means is that the person will just have to stim for longer period, that's all. U will stim till u get to the point they want. While for some people, they respond better towards the end of the stimulation. You have nothing to worry about. With the increment in dosage and the ample time left ur follicles will definitely grow bigger and catch up. All the best on your tomorrow scan. Are u on only Gonal F and Buserelin? |

kcj6789: OK. Thanks for your response dear. Yes I heard about the fat and water soluble. How does one even know which one is fat and water soluble? Will it be written on the body of the container? Or is it the one written soft gels? |

Hello Mamas, please can one take Coq10 without prescription seeing that it is a supplement. I just want to help myself by taking it so as to increase my chances of success. |
Health / Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by ebonynelly: 2:05pm On Nov 13, 2018 |
hope43: Hi. I realised that low ovarian reserve is basically lack of quality egg. There are supplements you can take to improve your egg quality. Other Mamas have mentioned them. U can start usuming them. |

titas: Hi. Thanks for your response. Yes, I have realised that it is for down-regulation as I also started taking it yesterday and was told same. Don't worry, I will ask questions. Tnx. Guess we are cycle buddies. Let's keep each other updated. How did u feel with the injection? Well, the pin is very tiny and so didn't feel the pain but the spot scratched me for about 1 hour, I also felt generally uncomfortable and dehydrated but nothing serious at all. Which clinic are you cycling with? Praying that our procedures turn out successful. Amen |

rabluk: Thanks for your reply dear. Yes, day 21 but I don't know the name of the injection yet. I will start taking it tomorrow. Is the buserelin injection for the management of pcos? Are you still undergoing the ivf treatment? What injections are you taking for the IVF treatment? |
