Good morning Mama's, so yesterday was my dating scan and to the Glory of God two heartbeat's were seen but out of excitement, I forgot to take my progesterone injection. I didn't remember this until midnight. I'm rushing to the hospital this morning for it. I believe it's not late.

Yayyyy..
So happy for you. To think you were complaining of no symptoms earlier.

Wishing you a healthy and successful journey.

13 days today, n still bleeding. Can d supplements am taking be responsible (DHEA, ubiquinol, ovum boost n pregnancare). Am fedup n tired. My normal period is 5days. Am thinking of stopping all d drugs. Was planning to take them for 3months in preparation for my next ivf. I never used to have irregular period. No fibroids. The cyst seen is even said to be a follicular cyst.

Nawa o. Please talk to your doctor to know what to do. Those supplements should not be making you bleed.

Good morning ladies, I am in my late 40s and living abroad. I am looking at going for a donor egg ivf treatment in Nigeria. I have read some tips and advice on this thread but not sure if anyone knows a good clinic for over 40s with good success. I wrote to Dr Emeka via whatts app and filled the enquiry form online but no response. Was looking at Abuja and wasn't sure which one to go for....
Can anyone help or have knowledge of clinics who have success with older women?

I am planning on coming out soon but want to narrow down 2 / 3 clinics to visit and start the process.

From reviews Dr Emeka is good. As for older women, I suppose any good clinic would also have good success with older women.

Good morning mamas and the few papas in the house.
I greet you all. I have been reading through the thread and I love the support here.
I have been TTC for 5 years but had to stop for a while because my marriage ended. I am back on the journey again for 2019.
I have endometriosis and age is not on my side. and after several failed iui ,diagnosis of blocked tubes, I want to go with ivf with donor sperm .
Please, has anyone used gynescope port Harcourt? What is the experience like? And nisa premiere. Port Harcourt is closer to me. But I won't mind going to a clinic in Lagos or abuja.
Eagerly awaiting your response.

I don't know about clinics in Porthacourt but there good clinics in Lagos and Abuja.

My period after bin one week late came very scanty, not very red, little tissue like pieces, with too much contraction pain. The contractions are on n off. I went to d hospital and a scan revealed cyst. I was given buscopan injection, tablet n antibiotics. Am still feeling d pain, n d flow is not coming well. Am just confused. Could it be as a result of d stimulation injections? I had a period 6th December without any issues.

I don't really know what could be the cause. It is possible it's the stimulation or not. What did the doctor say?

Mama ebonynelly, everybody that has gone through this stage please come out.
I have not been able to sleep cos I'm scared. All the symptoms I was having have vanished oh. No more headache, slight neusea, dizziness, tiredness zero Zero symptom sinces the hospital pronounced me pregnant.
Even my breast doesn't feel tender again and my scan day is still intwo weeks time. I don't know if I can survive this till then. I thought the 2ww for pregnancy was the hardest but no, this one here is turture. I'd glading endure mass beating than this. Make uba helep me, abeg.

My dear, everyone is different, same as every pregnancy. I would also worry though if I have no symptoms but lack of symptoms doesn't mean there is a problem just like rabluk said, she had none and everything is fine. My symptoms just started around 6 weeks +.
You are not up to that yet. Just enjoy being symptoms free for now cos as soon as it hits you, you would be begging for it to go just as I am right now. It's terrible.

I am doing OK. Thanks. Not as many symptoms as I thot I would have. Just the breast ache and nausea now and then but no actual throwing up. My scan was changed to the 11th .

Oh dear. The waiting doesn't get easier at all. Why was it shifted though?
Well, my systoms are just like yours. Sore breast and Nausea. The nausea only became more serious since yesterday. I almost threw this morning.

Fingers crossed for you.

Pls help to decide on FMC Jabi... am at a crossroad and I want to start this January. There's a doctor that left Garki hospital too... Dr Bende. He just started his IVF clinic or Grabbo. Pls I need to decide before I pay cos this money is not easy to come by

I had my myomectomy at FMC Jabi last year. When I was researching about clinics for IVF I came across one person that said she knows of two people that used there for ivf and were successful. That was all the review I came across. You know their ivf clinic is pretty new so it's understandable. Generally, they are okay in their service (I don't know about that of ivf clinic). I didn't use them cos of shortage of reviews and for the distance. They were my 3rd choice. I chose Grabbo cos of reviews and closeness.
