Gentlemen corp members, I know.many of you
will be going for the INEC screening soon and its
pertinent that I give you these tips that'll not be
given to you by the INEC and NYSC officials.
1. If you don't use an internet enabled phone, Buy
sufficient airtime on your phone and ensure you
keep your phone charged at all point in time.
2. Always look out for the escape route at every
assembly you find yourself at this period; RAC
center, Collation center, Polling Unit or wherever
3. Endeavor to look for the Head of DSS and
Police numbers in your LGA( This can be gotten
from your orientation booklet or your LGI) and
save the their numbers on your speed dial list and
2 and 3 with your parents/guardian having the 4
and 5 speed dial.
4. Stay ALERT both mentally, physically and
spiritually, There's no useless information, signal,
signage or signpost at this point in time. and
know the basics of the host language; know
things like: where is the nearest police station, kill
him, carry him, stab him and some other
emergency/alert lines
5. NEVER attempt to rig in favor of any party
whether PDP/ APC/LP/AP/NCP/UPN/SDP/AD or any
other party that might rig because it can result in
mob action that can take your life.
Bonus Point: Northern Corp members should
please Note that if you observe too much hostility
before the election in your area, DON'T PARTAKE;
you spent much more money than what INEC
would pay to train yourself in school. 2011 stories
still abound
Bonus Point Two: Immediately you finish reading

The cold for Zamfara here na die, NYSC year is really a dull moment, I think its left for us to make something out of it. The schools that are suppose to resume on 5th will now resume on 19th thanks to the harsh weather condition.

My humble self still remain in Tsafe, Zamfara state.

Reports from Kaduna, the home state of the Vice-President Namadi Sambo, stated that about 150 youth corpers have had their hands and limbs hacked off by people protesting the outcome of the 2011 presidential elections in Kaduna State

A youth corper who managed to escape the brutal attacks, narrated how they were rounded up by some youths. Their attackers appeared to be organised and they were told to line up and in turn had their hands amputated. Those who tried to escape had their limbs chopped off. But some of them managed to escape and have alerted the authorities.

The victims are in separate hospitals undergoing treatment. Many terrified youth corpers are said to be migrating away from Kaduna State to their respective states of origins.So far the authorities, in order to prevent the risk of reprisal attacks, have refused to disclose the number of dead victims. Reports indicated thousands of youth corpers were salughtered with about 35,000 receiving treament or displaced.

The Nigeria Police Force and the military have made their presence felt and effecting arrests. President Jonathan has promised to set up a judicial inquiry to look into the post presidential elections crisis.On his part, the CPC Presidential candidate, General Muhamadu Buhari has blamed the attacks on churches and the violence in general in a brief comment to BBC Hausa Service. But observers noted that he has stopped short of condemning the mindless killings of the youth corpers.

Domestic and international Observers have declared the presidential elections as free and fair.
