One of the first interview should be for him to address Wike's claim that there is no Igbo in Rivers state.
After Pidgin, Igbo is the widely spoken Language in Port Harcourt, just as after Pidgin, Yoruba is widely spoken language in Lagos.
Even Pro-Wike PDP chairman in Rivers state is answering Uchechukwu.
Interviewer: what is your reply on Wike's claim that there is no indigenous Igbo in Rivers state.
Interviewer: do you subscribe as an Indigenous Ikwerre man, that Ikwerre or Iwhnurohna is part of the wider Igbo family and not Benin descendants?
These two should be the first two questions he must publicly address before Media or in front of CHANNELS TV. |

So no more good beach for Lagosians staying on the island More new and recent new beaches will come up when the road is done. This time there will be no more demolition as the road will have been constructed and already under toll. |

Buziness101: Someone please explain this to me Their presence and shield and image in the middle East filled with USA haters. USA is well hated in Middle East, remember Osama Bin Laden is from there and he bombed US strategic towers, among others. Israel also hates some countries in Middle East and those countries hate them back, so when someone who doesn't hate you is fighting your enemies it is wise to support that person to deal with your enemy. And moreover Israel will be the battle ground and not USA so USA also get to keep the war away from their own soil and people by using Israel to fight their own war in proxy. They supply Israel with weapons and logistics in support, just for their own interest, to keep their own land(USA) safe from terrorists. |

Politics › Re: The Arochukwu King Should Rank High Than Obi Of Onitsha by Ebubu(op): 8:04pm On Sep 30, 2024 |
Hotepking: I have some Aro blood and I agree to some extent...only reason why Aros didn't leverage on their might to expand into an empire like many of their African counterparts was simply because we were more focused on slave trade and consolidating our economic might and influence in the Igbo hinterland and across the coastal areas in the Niger Delta and beyond. That's why the foothold and imprints of Aro influence can be seen in places large enough to have made it an empire if we pursued that cause.
There's also a reason why Aros hired mercenaries from warrior clans in Abriba, Ohafia, and Cross River areas to conquer our neighbors and make them slaves if they refused to grant us trading routes in their territories. Quote me anywhere, Eze Aro had more sphere of trade influence even down to Opobo where Jaja was sold to, than Obi of Onitsha. Eze Aro influence cut through SE communities and SS including Ibibio land and Cross River. If the British hadn't come, they would have extended their slave capture and trade influence across the river to meet the Bini, and if they had refuted, Aro mercenaries would have raided Bini land. I rate Eze Aro over Obi of Onitsha who just ruled over small kilometres square Onitsha only. And his name didn't strike any influence outside only Onitsha. That can't be said of Eze Aro whose mercenaries spread to Afikpo, Edda, Ohafia, Afam, Opobo, etc. If Abia government had promoted that King, he would have had First Class status in Nigeria, rivaling Ooni and Sultan and Oba of Bini. How can ordinary Ochi Idoma be rated over the Almighty raider. Those people raid pass Vikings of Norway, Iceland and Sweden. |

LOVEALAIGBO: Ignore this thread! It’s likely a alternate moniker of the ebubu impostor that’s behind it! His failed mission on this forum is to try and cause divisions amongst Ndigbo! Him and his bigoted ilk get sleepless nights agonising over the creation of the proposed Anioma state and it being added to the south-east, and it’s also his hateful and insecure ilk that look for, support or sponsor some greedy and compromised Ikwerre to say they’re not Igbo! You’ll also find other impostors on here pretending that Ndigbo want one state or the other created from the existing south-east! Ignore them all!
The only Igbo supporting the creation of any state other than Anioma state are doing so for selfish reasons! I am Ebubu. I am from Ngbo, in Ohaukwu LGA, same LGA as Simon Ekpa. I support Anioma creation and addition to SE. I do not support any other state within SE ahead of or before Anioma's addition to SE. I do not support Regionalism. I support Nigeria as it is presently constituted, however with extra state for SE and none other for other regions, to ensure equity in size. I hate discrimination of Abakaliki and Ebonyi and their tag as Northern blood or Igala. I support NdiIgbo but hate IPOB or Biafra. I support Igbo to become President of Nigeria, alongside our proposed six states. If you find Ebonyi state's trouble, or Dave Umahi's trouble, you've found my trouble. These are all my submissions. |

Only Enugu airport and PH maybe. You left the Bauchi senator that said his area was marginalized during Nothern regional government to pick on Ebonyi that wasn't in the news. It doesn't dispute the fact Ebonyi lacked basic amenities under Regional Government and we don't want to go back. The development of our region will be stunted as before under a regional government. Hospitals, roads, flyovers, airport, schools, malls, water supply, bridges, international markets, etc were not in Ebonyi under Regional Government. If we return, FAAC or federal allocation of Ebonyi will be used to develop Enugu and Onitsha and leaving us to rot just like before. |

oluztx: Not sure what some of you are arguing here. Enugu airport is a federal project started by the federal government, as part of the renovation and expansion of existing international airports.
State government cannot just take over to finish it up even if they want to. They have to get federal government to surrender the project and involves a lot of paperwork to pay off any existing contractors and more. So, it's an arduous process.
Ebonyi Airport is a state project started by the state government and completed by the state government. Same goes for Anambra Airport.
Enugu state government should give them ultimatum or sue them if they will not finish or surrender the project.
The way SE states can prevent such marginalization is enact state laws that mandate any federal government project in the state to have the state as cosponsor or junior partner in the deal with at least 10% minimum ownership, meaning the state can take it over if it the project is abandoned or not completed by the contract date. This will stop all this nonsense and strategic marginalization. It is a matter of time Enugu airport will be closed for rehabilitation and bad runway while all flights will be channelled to neighboring Ebonyi International Airport which is less than 45 minutes to Enugu capital. |

Ebonyi state equivocally reject Regionalism.
Ebonyi state as a whole under Eastern region suffered total neglect and complete absence of infrastructure, health centres, schools, water supply, airport, stadium.
Today, as Ebonyi state not under Regional Government, WE ARE PROUD TO SAY AS A STATE, NOW WE HAVE EVERYTHING WE ONCE LACKED WHILE UNDER REGIONAL GOVERNMENT.
We have the 4th best road in all of Nigeria, we have airport, two teaching hospitals, universities, public basic schools, airport, roads, stadium and mall. We lacked all these in regional government. And will surely be neglected in another regional government as our share of FAAC Federal allocation will be used to develope Enugu and Onitsha.
We remain thankful to Abacha for creation of Ebonyi state.
