I have always said Ebonyi should be face of South East politics because of our pan-Nigeria disposition to Nigerian politics.
We are not tribal in our politics, we stretch hands across the Niger to work with respect and dignity, with other National tribes, we don't insult North or West, we are humble, hardworking, respectful and loyal. We hate pride, show-off, and dubious-ness.
God bless Ebonyi state.
God bless Yoruba, Hausa-Fulani, Igbo, all of Nigeria.
Nice one His Highness. God bless you and thank you for this wonderful opportunity to an illustrious Ebonyi son. |

Brendaniel: Can you just imagine for a second that it was Peter Obi that was president and all these in Nigeria were happening?
The insults and attacks the Igbos would have received, the hate and narrative that would have been heaped upon the Igbos, now it is Tinubu a Yoruba man, the whole country is quiet... No major economic or constitutional reform should be carried by an Igbo man. It will be met with opposition and suspicions. Economic and constitutional reforms are best carried out by SW (OBJ and Tinubu, or North just like in military times). If South South or Igbo does any reform, coup may likely happen against him, party coup or military coup. Anytime Igbo becomes president, he should just focus on carrying out the norm; salary payment and road construction and avoid electricity subsidy removal, and other subsidies that exist in our economy such as healthcare subsidy. Because there will be rebellion against him. Unlike how it is in Tinubu or Obj time. |

Humabled: Instead of Umahi and Nwifuru wasting those billions on a white elephant project called airport, it would have set up to 20 vocational training institutes across Ebonyi state, training thousands of your young people in the craft of carpentry, masonry, electrical installations, tiling, diesel mechanics, roadbuilding and maintenance, roofing occupations etc, building enormous human capital base, instead of wasting them hawking on the streets of Nigeria. Did you profile them and they said they are Ebonyians? If yes, where is proof of such statistics? Many of them claim they are Ebonyians without valid evidence such as NIN or Voters card. Secondly, you want them to be a state of carpenters? You dey mad. No better suggestion like ICT |

Lagos is building its 3rd airport along Lekki-Epe expressway...
But obidient people are asking Ebonyi to use the one in Enugu.
Igbo people say let Eagle perch, let Kite perch, the one that says another should not perch, let it wings fall off.
This is why we'll never be part of Biafra alongside SS. Because you'll concentrate everything in Enugu and make everyother state a vassel of Enugu State.
You want Ebonyi to be farming so you'll be eating it in Enugu. While you enjoy being host and proximity to luxury and infrastructure. |

ivandragon: I always insist that infrastructural projects are not necessarily signs of progress or development.
Any project that does not have a direct and lasting impact in improving purchasing power, reducing cost of living and improving security for generality of the masses is not a 'good' project.
That space for airport would have been better invested in farming or a massive solar/wind energy project. Things that have a direct correlation to improving living standards. why your useless state no build the farm ? |
