I always insist that infrastructural projects are not necessarily signs of progress or development.

Any project that does not have a direct and lasting impact in improving purchasing power, reducing cost of living and improving security for generality of the masses is not a 'good' project.

That space for airport would have been better invested in farming or a massive solar/wind energy project. Things that have a direct correlation to improving living standards.
