Hmm i see okay so let me ask these questions when you were aware of yourself and and others and found out that you were attracted to females.
Where you also attracted to males also therefore becoming a bisexual?
Did you practice gay in Nigeria before you went abroad?
If the above was right, did you practiced it openly taking our society into consideration.
If you started to practice abroad then i will say that society influenced you.
If you believe in attraction to persons of same sex do you also believe in attraction of persons to animals (bestiality?)
Those are my questons i will ask you more later if i have.

People in the west become gay easily because of the wide spread acceptance of homosexuality there and the easiness to find fellow practitioners which is not the same here in African but right now things are changing anyway. I watched a film on abortion some time ago, a woman went for abortion and these cause a problem between the church and the organisation who supported it and the family of the father who wanted the child. After the abortion she was beaten up by the husband of the family and left with nothing to live on. Did you know that it was the church who said no to abortion that still helped her, take care of here and gave a new life with good job and today she is a strong opponent to abortion.

My message to all Christians, Moslem's and Africans who condemn homosexuality what have we done to help these people who are gay and lesbians. what stops us from forming an organisation where anyone who is having such a feeling can come for conselling and re-orientation, condemning it is not going to stop them. it is spreading throughout African and it is going to spread if we just sit and open our mouth to condemn them. If you and i feel they are on the wrong side then we have to do more than just condemning them.

I have learned from you ebumowa but as for being born gay or straight i will say all those are just western definitions to make us believe in different sexual orientation i believe everyone is born same as God wanted it and the only thing as i said i am still confused about is shemales

You said you are a Christian please i will like to know if you have gone through the bible to know what it says about homosexuality in the old and new testament hope to hear back from you.
@Black_Revo:
Before I answer your question I have to say something. There is no such thing as "practice gay", homosexuality is the attraction to persons of the same sex and not the act of having sex with someone of the same sex meaning a person can be attracted to someone of the same sex and still not act on that attraction.

I am not bisexual, I have never been attracted emotionally, sexually or physically to a guy meaning I am a lesbian. Was I with girls before I left Nigeria? Yes and I am currently in a relationship with a girl inthe United States.
What does beastiality have to do with homosexuality? I don't understand. We are talking about humans here, why bring an animal into the discussion? Why don't I say since you believe in "heterosexuality", do you believe in beastiality?

People don't "become" gay because they are in the west, homosexuality has nothing to do where you live, but the "expression" of one's homosexuality might; the western world is more open to the expression of one's sexuality, that is why it is more visible there not because the western world made them "gay".
