It takes a maximum of 3months to get a refund.

Please how long does it take UKVI to refund IHS fee after being denied a study permit? Please have anyone experienced delay in getting a refund of IHS fee because my IHS fee have not been refunded since 28th June that i got a decision.

Ok. Same thing applies here, I've not even gotten any mail from Shiffield. However, I'll suggest you put a call through the UKVI Contact.

Hi Everyone,

I stumbled on this page while i was seeking answers on why it is taking so long for a decision to be made on my student visa apllication to the UK, and i must say, you guys have done amazing things on this forum.

To the crux of the matter. I applied for a visa on the 6th of july after which i paid the necessary fees and my appointment was slated for the 10th of july at the ikeja vac (Etiebets place or thereabout).

On the 10th of july I was interviewed and the necessary documents were submitted.

On the 11th of july i got a confirmation mail from (tls contact) indicating that my application has been received .

On the 19th of july i got a mail from "sheffield" that my application has been received for decision making.

Following the timeline set above, i understand that decisions are made withing 15 working days for standard visa applications and in my own case it has been close to 30 days (non working days inclusive ) and yet i have not gotten any form of reply/message, either from "tls, sheffield Or ukvi.

Since the lapse of the expected 15 working days i have been worried sick . I have tried contacting the responsible parties by placing a call through, but there has been no conclusive reply, i have also tried to track the process using both the tls portal and the new (trial) ukvi checking system but all to no avail.

I just want to know if this is normal or is there any other person in a similar postion.

Thank you for the advice. I didn't write the IHS No on my Application Form but the receipt was scanned along with my Application Form to UKVI. How about this?

You should use the Original Copy otherwise you can drop the transcript and use your Certificate if available.
