If your mind is in Lagos state, my advice to you is based on my 15 years experience in Lagos.
Lagos life is not a piece of cake, you must be tough enough to live and survive. Transition to work or business area is another dimension, its a lifestyle you must get used to. If you are not the type that wakes up early (3am, 4am or atmost 5am) then Lagos is not for you. You must be the type that can endure long hours in traffic. Salary is good in Lagos, business is booming, however, you must be ready to sacrifice half of it on transportation depending on your location. Some companies provide accommodation for their staff while others dont. Since this is your first time and you dont have accommodation yet, i will advice you to start looking for job with accommodation. This way, you will be able to save enough money to rent your apartment within your workplace. Lagos is a big city, over-populated as well. Anyone who can live in Lagos, will survive any part of the world.

The very first day i tasted raw garri, i havent recovered from the experience. Raw or soaked with groundnut, milk and sugar...its more real than cereal. Garri is really family.
