I did the same thing for my younger sister some years back when she was seeking admission into the university. When I saw her result and she was admitted then I called her and started with my voice very low, that I’m so sorry, infact as I started saying I am sorry she burst into tears and I just told her you are admitted, see shout eh! It feels good to surprise someone like that sometimes. In all we thank God. Infact your case has given me hope.

Thanks, 14th May. No contact whatsoever from CO and only applied for a new COE since my previous one expired 26th of Feb.
