We are on the same page Sir, but my point of departure is on the issue of making people to travel from Kaduna, Portharcourt, Zamfara etc to Lagos when it is obvious that only 25 persons are needed nationwide. I didnt travel outside my State of residence for the test, but I have friends who left their jobs, their businesses, paid for a hotel accommodation for two days, at the end of the day only to realize that the slots are not up to one person per State. If they had known that their propensity to succeed in the long run is less than 0.5 due to the few number of candidates needed, some of them would have reconsidered the option of taking such risks.

Nawaoo, one person per Subject and they shortlisted thousands for aptitude test and hundreds for interview. You need one person per subject and 25 persons in the whole Federation and you made people to travel from different parts of the country for a test. I am not saying that organizing an open recruitment is bad, but considering Nigerian factor, it is obvious that the Ogas and top Politicians will certainly bring their candidates. Since it is not up to one person per State, tell me how an ordinary Nigerian will get a slot. Before you tell me about integrity in WAEC recruitment, remember we have heard such in organizations like DPR in their last recruitment and we all saw what happened. Where people that neither applied nor participated in the test let alone interview were given appointment letters. Success! success!! success!!!

Please, has someone been able to find out if truly WAEC will employ just ONE Asst. Registrar II per subject nationwide as someone said earlier in this thread?

In terms of infrastructural development, you have to give it to Gov. Umahi as the best of all the Governors in Nigeria presently. The man has transformed the State to the amazement of everybody. I visited Ebonyi State early this year and I couldn't believe my eyes. It is just awesome and commendable. Though he still has a lot to do in terms of human capital development in order to push most Ebonyians out of poverty trap.

Perhaps, incase your village people have decided to blindfold you, kindly return the appointment letter to the Private firm if you are really sure of the Fed. Govt job. The two are not comparable even if the Private Firm salary is higher. Fed. Govt job remains the best, even better than most Multinational company jobs, except you are looking at a career path you want to pursue.

Stop misinforming the public. All categories of applicants will sit for the aptitude test. I didnt say this to make argument with anybody, but to state the obvious for the sake of those who may be misled by this information. Check your Photocard as an Experienced Hire, your preferred test location is boldly written on it, so you will sit for the exam. Same thing I told people who applied for DPR in 2016, at the end of the day, both Graduate Trainees and Experienced Hire sat for the exam. It is so glaring that this is the first time some people here are applying for FG job. I am not here to discourage you but to tell you the reality on ground as a Nigerian. Solving questions up and down is good, but that is not a guarantee for being shortlisted. It is high time we started telling ourselves the truth. There will always be some lucky peeps who will get it on merit, but just very few. Names/ lists are already flying up and down. If you know any Senator or a top man in NNPC, please channel much of your energy in networking now instead of solving exam questions. I know many people will come for my head with the reasons that I am trying to discourage people here. Please, ask those who applied for DPR and FIRS how it ended. It is all about networking, it is all about man-know-man, but the miracle of God cannot be underestimated. I am just being a realist. Thank you.

However, it is surprising that same people that called for Jonathan's head since according to them, he (GEJ) was the Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces but did not stop Boko Haram from abducting the girls, exonerated Gov. Shettima who was on ground in Borno State as the Chief Security Officer of the State. Now, that similar fate has befallen Zamfara State, same wicked critics are exonerating Buhari but want the Zamfara State Governor (Gov. Yari) to resign his position since he is the Chief Security of the State.
So my question is, why did they blame Jonathan as the sitting President but are exonerating Buhari today who is also a sitting President?
Why are they blaming Zamfara State Governor but exonerated Shettima since the duo are Chief Security Officers of their respective States.
why are Nigerians full of hypocrisy?
Is this wickedness or madness?
How can we make progress as a country when the citizens are totally engulfed in ethnic sentiment and religious bigotry. It is a shame!

I have to believe you on this. Normally, this application was supposed to last for 6 weeks but they gave only 2 weeks to apply. I think they want to overhaul NNPC as many stakeholders are advising the government to sell it off. Like you rightly said, it is going to be a fast one unlike the previous recruitments.
