Politics / Re: OSUN: GEJ Must Be Commended by ecstacybling: 2:23pm On Aug 10, 2014
we all know how elections have been in this country before now. in some areas which I have witnessed, you even fear to go into a polling station if u r not voting a particular party, gun shots every where by armed tugs, is that what up want to continue? I prefer the military or police even though in very large number than armed tugs. anybody against our security forces is not a friend of Nigeria, such is just an enemy and a hater of peace and security. if u don't do anything wrong, why do u ve to bother?

Politics / OSUN: GEJ Must Be Commended by ecstacybling: 11:46am On Aug 10, 2014
The Osun election has come and gone, despite all the intrigues, horse trading, tensions, accusations and counter accusations, I guess the release of the result will definitely douse the political tension in Osun and the country at large and we can all settle to the business of governance, though for a short while, as 2015 is already around the corner.
I must single the president, GEJ for praise, he has truly lived to his words, that as far as he is president, gone are the days of usurpation of the will of the people, that the will of the people must count, and not just that, that every vote must count and that every man, woman and youth are entitled to only one vote. And every law abiding citizen is protected, feel secured, and no more untimely deaths of our NYSC brothers and sisters in the name of election.
To me, a dark cloud in our political history has finally passed over, the will of the people must count and the will of the people in The State of Osun has counted.
This leaves no fear in my mind, that come 2015, the will of the people will definitely count. Big thumbs to you, GEJ, your cap is really big and ll be remembered in the annals of our history as the first president who has sided even against his party and let the will of the people count.

Long live the State of Osun
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Culture / Convenience In Banks, Is It For The Use Of Bank Customers Or Bank Staffs Only? by ecstacybling: 10:04pm On Jul 19, 2014
The thought just crossed my mind. It was on this faithful day and for some reason maybe because of stuff I got into my system, I had to ask to use the convenience of the bank I was in. I saw the gawp of fellow customers as I asked and went in and even when I came out, their eyes followed my trail. Felt embarrassed in a way sha.lol

How many of us use convenience in banks? grin grin grin

Sports / Brown Ideye: West Brom Break Club Record To Sign Nigerian Striker by ecstacybling: 12:24am On Jul 19, 2014
West Bromwich Albion have signed Nigeria striker Brown Ideye for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £10m.

The Baggies announced the arrival of the 25-year-old Dynamo Kiev player on Friday, saying they had broken the club's record.

Ideye is the club's fifth summer signing. as they bolster their squad.

"Brown is a quality striker and I'm looking forward to working with him," said head coach Alan Irvine.

"He's a strong, quick, powerful player who likes to get in behind defences and has plenty of Champions League and international experience."

Brown Ideye Ideye has won 24 caps and scored five goals for Nigeria

Ideye has scored 74 goals in 182 career league appearances.

He will meet his new team-mates, including fellow new boys Sebastien Pocognoli, Craig Gardner, Joleon Lescott and Chris Baird when they return from the club's pre-season training camp in Sacramento, California.

Irvine, regarded as a shock appointment when he took over in June, will be looking to improve on last season's 17th-placed finish.

West Brom's previous transfer record was paid for Sunderland's Stephane Sessegnon in September last year.

Technical director Terry Burton added: "When I arrived at Albion the recruitment department flagged Brown up as the man at the top of their wish list.

"It is a fantastic signing because of the quality and the potential of the player. We're looking forward to seeing him play for the club and scoring goals." ............
