Hello V.O,
Thank you for your last respond to me. My husband and I went for the VISA interview on the 15th of October and were informed that the interview was successful but were asked to provide another set of police certificates for onward submission with our international passports at the GSS Document Collection Center, as the ones we submitted would be invalid by our intended travel date. We were informed that the passport will be ready for collection in five (5) business days.
Our passports and the police certificates were submitted on that same day (15th of October) at the GSS Document Collection Center. Till now we are yet to receive our passport.
We sent a mail to LagosIV@state.gov and this was the responds we got [b](According to our records, your immigrant visas were sent for pick up at the DHL PICKUP Facility/GSS Document Collection Centre – DHL, Plot 230 Muri -Okunola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos since October 21, 2014. We have called DHL helpline but were informed that the passport hasn’t been sent) Our CEAC status says ISSUED
Kindly let me know how long it takes for collection of passport and who I can contact fot my case. My case number is LGS2004821078 if that helps. Thank you

Hello v.o
I have recently been scheduled for an immigrant visa interview but I have a very big concern. My mum filed for an immigrant visa for me with the wrong date of birth, I sent NVC my birth certificate with the right date during documents submission but didn't bother calling them to update the BOD( just realizing that was a wrong decision).
Kindly let me know if it can be sorted out during the interview (the dob on the interview letter is different from that in my passport) or do I have to call NVC. Will this affect the interview date and the visa?
Appreciate a response from you soon.

Regards
E
