The same way someone from Kwara and Benin Republic can be Yoruba and someone from Akoko Edo can't
ANYWAY,
THESE IS NO PROVE THAT THERE IS IJAW IN ONDO STATE, SOWERE CONFIRMED, SOWORE IS A YORUBA GUY THAT'S WHY HE HATED GEJ.
THE IJAW IN ONDO STATE ARE MERE IMMIGRANT FISHERMEN

Keep quiet, mister
I am more Igbo than you are.
Stop all this Yoruba hate.
'Ibo' originated from the British pronunciation.
Aturu!
Afonja stop this stupidity and hate towards Igbo
You're an impostor and we know you.

read your statement again, so we are now Ibo because the European could not pronounce ''gb''?

Magic1:
Op, there’s no tribe in Delta regarded as “Igbo”, not even the Ibo speaking part. What we have is Ika, spoken by the people of Agbor/Owa, Aniocha spoken by the people of Isele-Ukwu, Isele-Azagba, Ogwashi-Ukwu, Okpanam, Ibuzo etc

Sowore is an Apoi Ijaw man from Kiribo, there's also Arogbo and Tubutoru Ijaw clans in Ondo
So how is someone from Southern most part of Ondo state an Ijaw but someone from Egbema Rivers state or Anioma Delta state is not Igbo?

PoliticsRe: Full List Of The 371 Tribes In Nigeria by EdiAbali: 5:43pm On Mar 23, 2019
SmartPolician:
There is. The Ijaws in ondo usually mix Yoruba with their names.
I think Sowore is a good example.
I once had a colleague, Ayodele, a girl, who learnt Yoruba when she relocated to Lagos because they are ethnic Izon people from Ondo.

For those asking for Ijaw on the list, Izon is Ijaw. Ijaw people of Bayelsa State would rather call it Izon ..just like Ibos prefer Igbo.
Sowore is a Yoruba guy, having Ijaw name does not mean they are Ijaw.

Just like there are people who bear Igbo name and speak Igbo and Igboid language in Rivers state, does that mean there are Igbos in Rivers state? same with Yoruba, some people speak Yoruba related language in Delta state, does it mean that we have Yoruba in Delta

Whether you like it or not, there are Igbo Muslims. I've met some from Imo, Ebonyi and Enugu states, this is something you can't deny because I've met them korokoro. To even burst your bubble, my neighbor is a Muslim from Cross Rivers! So stop consolidating yourself by deny the obvious, the sad part is these Igbo Muslims are increasing everyday. One of my Igbo friends from IMO was angry at Rochas, when I asked him why, he said Rochas is islamizing Imo States and that Igbos are now embracing Islam because of some activities of Rochas. So stop denying
As an Igbo man in my early 30, I have never seen or met an Igbo Muslim before,
I only know one Igbo man whom people told me was a Muslim, he stayed long in the North, converted and married 2 Hausa women, when he came back to my village, he was practicing Islam but now he's a traditionalist, he lost his first wife, his second wife is now a Christian
Only on the internet I see some people claiming Igbo Muslims,

It's not really surprising, d whites have always sought to influence and change others to be like them and if they can't, they go d hard way, which is extermination. Most of these lands these whites claim as theirs are really not theirs. We all know how Europeans conquered and massacred indigenous Australians - including new Zealand, indigenous American Indians etc and then now claiming sole authority. Britain in 1948, did similar evil by creating a country that never was in the Middle East called Israel. History abounds of all these injustices meted out to other civilizations by these so-called cultured race
Islam don chop your brain finish,

You talk of how UK created fake Israel and forgot Nigeria is not original.
