The issue is that I'm scared of being too attached to people..
I'm too emotional and will feel hurt if eventually the person leave..
I have always maintain a kind of distance when relating with people (both gender) so I don't miss them when they leave tomorrow..
I don't think I'm proud or have low self esteem... I will say you are almost like me here, infact it's like am the one writing this. At a point I thought I have problem., Chai. |

Ade3131: Your submissions above says a lot about how much you've experienced in life than it says of the 30+ guy living with his parents.
Lemme ask you why you think everyone above 30 that still lives with their parents can't really afford to rent his own place?
And who told you that most of them don't have a job? Ifeel your perspective on life in this regard is so narrow and bereave of wisdom.
They're people that decide to stay with their parents due to their parents' health condition. I guess you didn't factor that into your submission.
They're also guys like Seyi Tinubu who's born into wealth. His parents live in mansion and they have a lot of them littered around the world. Whichever one he chooses to stay, it still won't change the fact that he lives with his parents.
Then lemme also ask you what economic or logical gain is there in renting your own house (even when you can afford it) and your dad owns an estate and they'll only sleep in one or two rooms while they're lots of vacant rooms available?
Or you just want to go out for the society to see that you're truly a man?
And if we're being realistic, the realities of the present day Nigeria is not in synch with whatever fantasy any of us have had growing up. Renting a room and parlor at Orile, in Lagos state now goes for as much as half a million for a year and landlords are demanding 2 year rent upfront in addition to agent and commission fee. Total package is 1.3m. That's a room and parlor. Tell me how your 20k of 2 jobs can afford that.
Let's not pressurize the less-privy men among us. Yes, it is expected that at certain age you should be financially stable enough to stand on your own, but if you're reading this and you're above 30 and still stays with your parents, and your reality says otherwise to the expected norm, pls don't go into crime bcuz you want to size up with your mates.
Life na turn by turn. You might be a late bloomer, and there's nothing bad about it. What's bad is knowing that you're down and still be digging. If you're down don't dig. Instead, stand up. There is this guy that is very close me. He was still leaving with his parent until their landlord gave them 6months quit notice for renovation. They father rush and roof their uncompleted building that the starter, furnished about 2 room as his money reach, do you know what this boy did? He went and rented a self con of about 170k Furnished it. I confronted him to why I didn't Used that his money to furnish their own personal house. He said he can't live with his dad at his age.(he his about 24yrs) Now his rented house will soon expired while their own house is still not completed. |

Supremos: If you think you can placard Akwa ibomites into hating Igbos, then you're on a very long thing.
The bond between us are inseparable by your pettiness I personally cannot hate the Igbo because they have not hated me as a person, I don't know if they have hated other of our people. I schooled in Igbo land, they didn't hate me. The only problem for some of them which I don't consider to be anything was downgrading other tribes, thinking they're higher than others or wiser than others, but when they come closer to you they see that you are not what they told them or what they portrait you as. That is wen they become your friend and started revealing what they thought you are before to you. Wickedfacts |

fkj950ax: All the 36 States and FG since 1999 are guilty of the points I made.
Lagos State imposed BRT lanes and took over 33% of some roads in the State. Did it improve traffic and caused socio economic growth we can measure today?
Akpabio built a stadium some years back in Uyo. What has been the socio economic impact of that stadium on the people that live in a 10km radius of the project?
Nigerian government (Fed, State and LG) need to have a long term plan to implement projects with results.
Every year we commission roads and renovate classrooms and import medical equipment.
Has there been any improvement in transportation, education or healthcare for members of the public across the 36 States?
You think I am attacking him because he’s probably your governor, but I see above all these tribal blindness around NL. It’s irrelevant to me because it doesn’t achieve anything or add to you. you are right. Road, flyover, stadium and traffic light no dey put food for table, akwa ibom need human capital development. |

Wickedfacts: They see non-Igbos of the South South region as lesser than them and that is why they are against any developments in that area. They were against CR in the days of Donald Duke, they were insulting Akpabio when he built the Stadium, they are now insulting Udom for the infrastructure. Even the launching is Ibom Air, they said he was jealous of Air Peace.
Ilaumoh used to post pictures of projects in Akwa Ibom. Open his threads and see how they insult him because he's just posting progress pictures.
It is Wike that fits them. They fear him because he is capable of knocking sense into their heads. not really Bro. I have never seen the Igbo been against akwa ibom project before. They are always happy about it and praise our leaders for it |

FRANCISTOWN: It's the truth bruv. Here in Nigeria, we just like mounting unnecessary pressure on people , because we are too egoistical and dumb.
That's why you'll see some people come out to say "If you've not made your first 1million by 25, you are a failure" , "if you are 25 and you don't have your own house , you are not a man enough", "if you are 25 and you are still in your parents house, you are lazy and weak".
So what happens to someone who makes his first 1million at 25 and blows all his money before 30? And someone who makes his first 1 million at 30 and later goes on to be a billionaire? I know when I made my first big money, and how it went all off, because I was too young to understand the principle of money.
What happens to someone who moves out of his parents' house at 19 but returns at 40 because he no longer has shit goin on for him, and someone who moves out at 40 and later goes on to own estates and malibles.
In India, most of the family live together. No matter how rich you are, you'll live with your extended family.
As a man, if you are still living with your parents at 40, you are not a failure. If you've still not made your first 1million at 30 you are not a failure.
Just be sure within yourself that you are doing something to change the situation. As long as you are not idle. You are a champ. thank you sir. I have been feeling so depressed this days. Because I feel like I am a failure. This your comments will and me get better, and I will strive to succeed. |

It depends on the family. In my family Case my Dad prefer us to move to our own house rather than paying rent, my dad lives in another house outside the city. While I lived in is house in the city. My father doesn't allow us to move out, his reason his that " if we don't stay in his house, who do we want to come and stay" I and my brother has been living here because it's a 3(2bedroom flat) since we came back from service. But This your topic has always made me to feel bad about myself for not having my own house, not only your topic wen I see my mate paying for house rent. My senior Brother is using the money that he should be using to pay rent to build his personal house. I also know one guy that is 40, he stays in his father's house because his father has so many houses and land, note: the guy has money to rent his house and he is earning big. |

BigDickProblems: Creating a new PayPal account as a Nigerian is just like a waste of time. After sometime, even after creating with a Lesotho nationality which most Nigerians do, your account will be flagged. At that point in time, your money is just like Gone. I was lucky to have created mine about 2 years ago. I got to the limit, I think $3k, and my account was flagged. And some money I had there was just there cos I couldn't withdraw it. So I left it there for about a year while using another new account. After about a year I decided to use my NIN CARD to try my luck on the first PayPal and till this day, PayPal has done nothing about that. That was how my account was verified.
You wouldn't take that risk. Other accounts which I created have all been flagged and verification to no avail.
Find other means to withdraw your fund. Or if you have someone you can trust, you can use their PayPal and tell them to send you the fund in Naira. ok. Thank you |

Normally my Withdrawal goes this way:
PayPal ➡️ Dollar Card ➡️ Skrill ➡️ Binance ➡️ Bank Account
However, I loose about 18% of my money all through the whole process.
Now could you please let us know the best way to make withdrawal from Paypal without loosing this much?
Thanks in anticipation for your feedbacks.

Then, you can link your PayPal to the US checking account.
Once the money drops there, you receive it on your Payoneer account. You will then withdraw to your Nigerian account.

I started with C in 2007 den c++, Java , php and C#, every language I have learnt till today is similar to it, expect python to some extent which I find very boring. C++, Java(my fav), JS, php, C# are object oriented but are very similar to C, what you are learning is just the new syntax. I learnt kotlin basics in less than a week because it's just an easier Java. I will just advice u to pick a language and stick with it. Build many things with it, then u can try another language.
