A little Google search would help. Word is Polyandry. Thanks.
Sparro:

Madam, who feels the impact more as regards to what a woman does with her body? The subject is allowing women to marry multiple husbands at the same time. Can you as a woman cope with that? Who is gonna pay whose price? So, you think a man in his right thinking mind will pay for the head of a woman who is already married to other men? Babe, please, format your brain

Lol. I sha know people practise Polyandry.
And I don't think they all live in the rainbow.
Thalinzrcng:

Lol. What?! Its understandable that u'd be in some self-denial over his remark, I mean u r a woman. But set that sentiment aside if it's possible, and tell me if u don't truly think that analogy is the perfect retort to the idea of a woman having 4 HUSBANDS at the same time.

We all know y'all, like men, have 'sexcapades' over the course of your lives but a woman with 4 husbands at a time is a unicorn. She might exist somewhere over the rainbow.

It's not as if a man married to four wives can satisfy all four of them equally either. A lot of times, na management the wives dey do. Or they find 'side cocks.'
So if it's sexual gratification that is the grouse, it's not exactly an ideal situation both ways.

Sha Google Polyandry
Khaleell001:

Madam it is very easy to mouth off different women can sleep with different men.
we are not strictly talking about sex, but responsibility.
can you as a woman, sleep with 4 different husbands in a day.
Take care of them like a man does.
And when you get pregnant, who do we attribute the child to.
When you try to draw such comparison you come off looking shallow and childish.

Them never born that woman Wey go try am.
I repeat, dem never born that woman Wey go try am.
Romance / Re: "If A Man Can Have 4 Wives, A Woman Can Also Have 4 Husbands" - Nigerian Lady by EditZone(f): 5:07pm On May 20, 2019
I like your last paragraph.
That's my philosophy too.
I just hate double standards.
Kennydoc:

I'm neither for polygamy nor polyandry, but it doesn't make sense naturally for a woman to marry 4 men. We all know that the primary reason for sex is procreation. If a woman marries (not just sleeps around) with 4 men, what if they all decide they want to have kids in the same year?

Even in animal husbandry, just one bull is needed in a ranch to take care of 20 or more cows. Same with other animals that can be reared.

Also, by nature, it's very much difficult for a woman to love more than one man genuinely. When women love, they love deeply with all their hearts. They commit their whole lives into the person. Men on the other hand love superficially. Men fall in love more easily but it's usually not that deep, and that's why a man can love 2 girls at the same time and find it difficult to choose one over another.

Let me reiterate that I am not in support of polygamy or polyandry. I believe a man should have one wife and vice versa. By God's grace, I am going to "eat one egusi" for the rest of my life. So help me God.

You obviously haven't heard about polyandry.
Perhaps you should Google it?
And worry less about what happens to a woman's body, she can push a 4kg baby out of it and still counting so save your convenient worry.

Use your head!

Nonsense.
When you liken humans to keys & padlocks, it makes a nonsense of your argument.
Married or not, women do have sex with multiple partners at different times in their lives and that's a fact.
So do men.
And nature has no problems with that.
But we humans have chosen to attach undue importance and a false connotation to what a woman does with her body.

Well how do you really tell if a girl had just had sex ? Is it possible? Some say from the way she talks you can easily tell if she had done it at most an hour or two ago. She'd be very humble in her speech and have this guilty look on her.
Guilty?
Did she commit a crime? Why would she have a guilty look?

aribisala0:

Thank you but

Number 5 .
I do not think this is a matter of grammar but style and in some instances it is just not right
e.g we would not write

Have you heard from Zenith Bank?
It has not responded

Rather

they have not responded

Nuumber 14

Whom did we hire to join the podcast team is just wrong

Rather whom is used to indicate a KNOWN person or entity and not an UNKNOWN person .

If we don't know who we are talking about we do not use WHOM as in

Whom did we hire but

Who did we hire.?

When we know who we are talking about then we say whom e.g

This is Jane is the one whom I spoke to you about last week.
Jane s the one whom we have hired

So it is wrong to ask identity starting with WHOM, use WHO instead

There are other rules rrelating to use of whom or who which I won't go into here

My take: if you are not an expert leave people alone with their grammar we are not English

I don't quite agree with you on your take about the use of 'whom' and 'who'.
Whom is used to refer to the object of a clause or sentence, while Who is used to refer to the subject of a clause or sentence.
It has nothing to do with your knowledge or lack thereof, of an identity.
You can start a sentence with whom if it refers to the clause or sentence object. For example. Consider the sentence below.
"She beat him to a pulp."
The subject is 'she' and the object is 'him'.
Now I want to find out who was beaten.
I ask
" Whom did she beat to a pulp"?
Because the person beaten is the object of the sentence and therefore cannot go with who.
Now let's say I want to ask the identity of the beater (who is the subject). I'll say -
"Who beat him to a pulp?"
So "whom" is an object pronoun, while "who" is a subject pronoun.
Quick tip ; Him(and her) go with whom.
He(and she) go with who.
If the answer to your question is 'Him(or her), use whom.
And vice versa.

Education / Re: What Is The Difference Between Accent And Intonation? by EditZone(f): 6:24pm On May 19, 2019
otipoju:
Both intonation and accent are features of pronunciation.

Intonation is how an individual's spoken words come across to his listeners. Intonation is not about what you said. Its about how you said it.

Did you speak in a welcoming, cheerful, lively , grumpy , sad or forceful manner.

Accent is the similar way a group of people pronounce words and the rythym in their way of talking. Thus from the way of speaking, you can recognise what part of the world they are from.

Therefore two people can have the same accent, but different intonations.

Eg. Mohammed who is Hausa will speak English with an Hausa accent just like Bello who also has an Hausa accent. But their intonations may be different as Mohammed who is a soldier tends to speak more forcefully compared to Bello who is a musician whose intonation is generally cheerful.
Succinct!

This might be handy like you said but it still doesn't take away the need for a professional manual proofread and edit.
This is why Google employs manual editors for their transcription edits even though they have the Google automated transcribers.
If a professional handles your work, you'd see the difference.

Well, I guess it's her choice at the end of the day.
We all get married for different reasons.
She has chosen money.
We should respect her choice.
We may not applaud it but then, whose business is it really?
The funniest part of it is that more than half the people bashing her wouldn't blink an eye before accepting to be in her shoes.
