If you are already in Canada as Temporary Resident (Student or Worker) or will soon be joining a spouse as student or worker, then good news.

The cut down of PR will favour those already in Canada as Temporary Resident.

Canada Experience Class and Provincial Nominations for residents (in-country) will be prioritized for PR than out-country migrant.
in summary 240k slots for over 3m temporary residents 🤭. IRCC should keep deceiving themselves lol

The only thing that would make some of you in this forum happy is if Nigerians abroad are packing oyibo shit. You guys wish Nigerians abroad to do odd jobs to justify yourselves unfortunately that is not the case.

Majority of Nigerians who came as PR or transitioned into PR become professionals in their career. Some continued their careers from where they stopped in Nigeria, some started in the factory and upgraded before transitioning into a professional career over time.
Success is not measured overnight, it is a long term game. Nigerians migrating are smart to capitalize on the working system to position themselves for long term success.

You can believe that majority of Nigerians are homeless or packing oyibo shit abroad, it is your right to believe whatever you want if that makes you sleep well at night.
its just funny. 😆

Most of the Nigerians that sold their properties and resigned their job to go to Canada in the last 5 years, can't find any meaningful professional or decent job and are stranded and that's a fact. Forget all the Canada hype ask people living there you are close to who can tell you the truth.
go on LinkedIn. Nigerians are getting promoted to director and senior manager level. Most of the people i came to Canada with in 2020 ( permanent residents) and those i know have settled in and gotten good jobs. We have also become citizens. Dey play

how will they access the oil platforms in the middle of the oceanhuh Using boat is slow and risky due to piracy.

Who told you they were cheap during the time of your father.

Stop deceiving yourself and plan properly to achieve something now that it is still cheap. In few years now, a portion of land that costs ₦3m will cost ₦10m and you'll keep waiting till eternity when it will be cheaper. The worst that could happen to you is not having a house of your own till you get to old. Think.
Don't go the way of your father.
in those days mechanic/ meat seller dey see land buy. And how are you sure i dont have a house or land yethuh I waa talking about acres. 🥴

Guy Israel never use it own weapons, even Russia and China you mention cannot dare Israel, all the weapons Israel using for now are toys, America self respect them because they are the one behind most countries weapons production, see countries that can detonate pagers, walkie talkei, phones , laptop and solar panels from their land , Abeg give them some respect
stop comparing Israel with china / Russia. Dem no be mate. Nothing special in detonating pager. Did minimal damage. Ordinary rockets fired by Iran USA ships had to help them shoot some down. China and Russia have nuclear submarines which Israel doesn’t

You are right but your Papa reason could be the same reason why you have not bought acres of land in:

1.) Owerri or Enugu or Onitsha because its Omo Igbo potopoto region that will never develop

2.) Osun, Ondo, Ekiti because they are not Lagos, a megacity with great potential of quadrupling your capital investment in 2 years.

I repeat...u can't say 80 % ... my dad bought his house in festac in the 80s , build another in coccinellids avenue in 91 , built another in 6th avenue in 2003 ...built another in lekki in 2008, b4 moving to Abuja.... I also schooled in Ijanikin ... festac was well developed in the 90s .if ur dad built his house in an area in festac without roads, then it should be 6th avenue... that the road wasn't tarred don't mean that area wasn't developed... even lekki in the 90s was developed... that some places were remodelled or expanded don't mean it was never developed... Ogudu was developed down to iyana opaja ... Eko bridge was in existence in the 70s .... and it seems u are the gen z ...cos there was nothing like Mr biggs in festac or amuwo in the 90s ... it was in marina ... Mr biggs came to featac either late 90s or early 2000s
the picture in the topic is from the 60s or 70s. All the places you are mentioning are not even up to 20% of Lagos. When did people start going to build houses in iyana iba, ikorodu, Alimosho, abule egba and co. Its was late 90s and 20s. All the swamps and lands over looking canals were empty. Today no space again

In 2010 i escorted someone to buy land. Omo onile guys there camped under a big tree. There were many trees all over and empty space. 10 years later no space again

Do u know what's 80 percent?? In the 70s ... frstac existed, ikeja and its environs existed , v.i , marina and ikoyi existed... surulere , yaba , apapa existed.... okoko , satellite, ijanikin existed ....oshodi ,mushin , amuwo , cele , agbara , orile all existed and were thriving ...so how was 80% Bush.. do u know lagos was the capital of Nigeria as of then... If u talked about Abuja in the 70s ..then I will not oppose ur taughts
i no fit dey argue with Gen z. When my papa build house in 1993 grass still dey grow for middle of road in our neighborhood. There was a mr biggs in festac and on the way there ( todays amuwo) the entire stretch was empty. I went to ijanikin for common entrance exam in late 90s. It was empty. There was a resort near badagry i also went to , along the way it was empty. I was alive when igando to lasu road was done. Even lekki axis no be in the last 10-15 years he begin develop massively- there was VGC, Lekki 1 and Eleganza the rest was mostly empty

https://raecafrica.com/#members
They have been selling to Nigerians. Elumelu, seplat, eroton and many others of bought shell assets in the last 10 years.

They are only selling their share of the assets which is usually 49% max, NNPC still owns majority stake in many of the oil fields. No be slavery contract, they have a right to sell/ japa to offshore.
